jesus I don't know man... with this game I'm like my girlfriend in a mall, I say IS THE SORCEESSS and when I have lvl 85-95 Blizz Sorc I say " I kind wana start all over again with a Wind Druid" and then latter with hammerling, then Posison nec. For me, I like all characters at same time. But I always start with Blizz sorc is the best cuz lower Kurast man, is the best place for farming. You can get a HR a day if you play in P7.

she is not the best starter and it so annoying to see ... shes limited in density farming without gear . Shes the best when you consider acquiring fast and usable loot for trade . in an SSF playstyle she lacks cause she require more power to improve at density farming.. Thing like pnb necro , javazon , boss farming with jav,barb,pal,necro is better . druid is one of the strongest for chaos run with minimal gear so is asssassin trap. sorc has nothing she has mephy and andy and fast travel to sub par areas.

I did a playthrough with a bowzon during the PTR2.4 using strafe as my main skill and it was still very very slow. Bows needs better base damage. And we also need more runeword for bows. It could include already existant runewords, but making them allowed for bows. Note that crossbows to be relevant, needs better base damage. It also needs an IAS base much much closer to the bow. Buriza which may be consider the only 'relevant' crossbow in the whole game, needs a buff off 80 IAS... and it still slow AF. The best part is that you can't up it either, because the strenght requirement will be so high that it make it unusable. :)

Reason 6: She is just not played. So most gear is super cheap compared to sorcs and pallies. You can get a 20/20 zon torch for the price of a 10/10 sorc torch, maybe even cheaper. Plus if ladder grinding is your thing, you will be able to get on the ladder board much easier than a sorc or a pally. This is speaking from a hardcore perspective because I don't have any softcore experience. Maybe with pvp factored in she is played?

People have always been sleeping on amazon. It's because her solo is very limited pre infinity/enig. But as the guy said, if there is a paladin to spread conviction (which is a thing early game now that fohdin exists), and someone to tp her to where she needs to be, her clearing speed in most places is quite possibly unmatched. She gets both in her kit, the ability to clear screens instantly, and the ability to one tap every boss but the uber bros. But to balance it out she then also gets absolutely zero way to support in it her kit. No enemy resistance manipulation, very little utility, no self/party buffs, no innate mobility and her tp frames are still garbage when she acquires enig (tho it's still 100% mandatory imo). Evade skills are good now, but won't prevent her getting resistance-checked by burning souls, so without high-end gear, she's still made of glass essentially. The old guard of d2, I Think, were all mostly solo players, and they rated the class builds as such. The question was always how fast/safe can the build do content alone, not how fast/safe can it do content if we actually put it in an organized group of people. Mr streamer even accidentally put it as 2 of his 5 points, that amazon really shines in group play, where she can get the support her kit sorely lacks. That being said, people are kinda waking up to her this ladder. And with fresh, more "modern", eyes looking at the matter. It wouldn't surprise me if a much bigger percentage of first 99's (compared to old ladders) are gonna be amazons, who got to run with an organized group.

Well.. yes. :) big damage clears fast, phys/light immunes are tough but a swap jab with amp cast helps.. slow charged bolts and whack away.. Its a good class, and avoidance mitigates so much.. the problem later on becomes resists..

Started D2R with Javazon. If you’re farming cows, you can really do well trading item bases and runes for what you need. Took like two weeks to get a Griffon’s by simply trading an Ohm to someone who needed CTA and had a Griffon’s. You don’t need much gear for Javazon to be stacked for p1 cows. Sorc has highest cost gear early, and it’s kinda boring playing the same char over and over and over that everyone else is also playing.

Blizzard Sorc dont need any gear whatsoever really to farm the obvious spots early ladder Zon is great for Runes and Bases like you said Necro/Trapsin works well too for Stuff like Nihla and Dkeys Even no Eni Hdin can farm river of flame,CS, Countess, eldritch, Shenk (AND pindle if youre not so squishy anymore) With new Patch You could even go Fire Sorc and farm Stony Tombs Or Arcane when Following Public Baal Runs

I've always started as a hybrid Zon because it is the most powerful character through normal that continues to progress all the way through Hell. She's also one of the best boss killers as well, add in great clear speed and super boss killing. Great.

bow even if you're full equip, it doesn't do the damage that javelin does, probably no skill besides trapsin. does as much damage as thunderfury, the ability does not need to be nerfed, the rest needs to be buffed to its height, especially druids

The difference with Holy Fire is the paladin is doing nothing. You just run and they die. With Amazon, at least you aim and you throw something. It's really the "do nothing and everything dies" part that annoys him, I think.

Any chance you can get them to look into laptop melting? I have changed all my settings and lock my fps to 60 but the second i launch d2r on my gaming laptop my temp jumps to like 90 and then climbs. I have Alienware 17 R4 and should be able to play D2R with no issues but it gets so hot i'm scared to play. Can anyone help me out?

Generally speaking, sorc and paladin are the best, with fair arguments for either edging the other out slightly. However, if you can build yourself a gold find barb quickly, he's gonna be one of your best high rune finders and also your best gg rare item finder. Assassin is possibly the best key farmer early on, so she's a solid starter. Necro is probably gonna be your most reliable hc starter. If you wanna run cows till your eyes bleed, probably Amazon is the best starter. It depends if you wanna be an all-purpose character or if you wanna be highly specialized.

Nothing beats native teleport if what you're looking to do is get gear as fast as possible, but what the heck plenty of other chars can farm pretty decently. Even a find item/pindle barb could be pretty decent, even without enigma. I think it's nice that someone people will go hydra sorc instead of 100% blizz lol.

Most bows are just better used on different classes. Getting an obedience second slot, holy fire paladin with upped kuko shakaku in main hand and razortail is probably the most fun build in the game. Kill 2 or 3 enemies with the polearm until lvl 21 enchant triggers and then shoot piercing arrows that explode on every pierce with phys/fire damage + holy fire damage + enchant damage. Oh, group of 24 enemies, 1 arrow, all dead. Funniest thing you've ever seen. You can go crazy and get an infinity merc with that as well and some fire RBF and it's just hilarious how much damage this dumb build can do. "look at that idiot, running a pala with a bow. haha, what a .... did... did he just oneshot the entire CS?"

@@Adam-zb5kk explosions are only affected by additional fire damage. Holy shock would add damage to the attack but holy fire makes the entire explosion deal massive damage. This isn't supposed to be an actual endgame build for farming, I usually use this for leveling and respec at around 70, so immunities aren't something I care about. You would need some very expensive items to make a character that is comparatively mediocre. He just does a lot more damage than you'd expect from a bowadin.

no you cannot 1 shot baal in hell with javazon baal has about 500k hp max charged strike damage is about 1-15k per bolt * 12 bolts. That is 360k damage if all bolts deal max damage at -100 resist. So at minimum you need 2 hits. In reality expect half the max damage for average damage - 180k per hit, so 3 hits. Baal also blocks with 55% chance... so it may last like 6-7 hits

Best start character ? No. A fun character to play huge yes. I do not like sorceress as monsters tend to be immune to your element, and being able to do physical damage will allow for quicker killing of immune monsters. Also Spears need more love any suggestions ?

2.4 gives us nothing. we will make same class with same skill with same items. firstly blizzard, collect some gear then go keys, make a smiter farm some torchs, then make him a hammerden. try to find ber and jah for enigma. all boring thins are comming. Without a titans Amazon is very slow and cumbersome, constant replenishing javs, damage is lacking big time, you're running with a freaking torch & anni too.. WTF!!! + valk helm, titans, laying of hands, that character is already in another bracket!! The only options left to upgrade her are the incredibly expensive ones, griffons, enigma, infinity.. Goodluck getting Ber, hundreds of hours on D2R and RnJesus hasn't dropped me a single Ber for my Zon.. ilvl 95 nearing 96.. hundreds upon hundreds of chaos, travs, cows, baal runs, not a single Ber has dropped for me!

if that's the only reason you have then just pop on a teleport offhand staff. Act 2 (I forget what level you have to be for it to start showing) drognan, roll a map where he is next to the exit and keep rolling until you get a teleport CHARGE (not +1 skill) staff. Try to get one without anything else so it doesn't cost millions. Yes you can't spam travel with it like the sorc, but it costs so much she can't at the start either. When out of charges cube the staff with an ort rune to repair it so you don't need to pay the extremely high repair cost. That being said, I do agree with you that sorc is the best, but for the overall skills IMO.
