the one time he isn’t lying, however the velocity of the 5.56 is the downfall of its stopping power and thats why it doesn’t match up to any other battle rifle caliber

Most 5.56 rounds don't hit maximum potential velocity out of a 20" barrel. In test barrels most rounds show increases in velocity with more barrel length up to and beyond 26" barrels. A few of the lighter loaded plinking rounds top out around 24"

I've been thinking this for years. If we need a handier rifle for going through doors, suck it up and have a crap bullpup trigger or use a different cartridge optimized for 14 inches of barrel.
