Can you make a youtube vid show your aquarium? PS. I caught a 30cm shortfin eel and I'm going to put him in my spare brackish tank. Nice job with the fishing bro. Also, why do you have 3 petrol tanks in the boat?

I’d love too. How’d you catch your shortfin? I’ve wanted one in the tank for ages but they seem to be hard to catch. It’s an anxiety thing with the petrol, I always think I’ll run out even if I have wayyy to much.

@@3FinFishing Hey mate, there is a long abandoned swimming pool (heritage listed) that has a hole in the side so fish and stuff can come and go with the tides a few doors up from me. Ive seen the eel in there for weeks now, I caught a few tiny baitfish off the surface with a net, put it on a size 10 luderick hook, then dropped it in on top of the eel because I could see him searching for food at night with a head torch. After 30 mins or so I came back and the eel was hooked on. It would be very hard find a baby eel though, this was by chance I saw it in the corner of my eye. Not to hard to catch the bigger ones with a big smelly bait in the rivers. Totally get the petrol thing, although the extra weight would slow you down. Cant wait for your tank video when you make it.

Not too long now, it’s in the editing process as we speak. Maybe I’ll have to try the live baits in some shallow creeks or something. -Max
