Is an LS Swap Really Better than a Classic Chevy 350?

I have a91' Z28 and everyone I know wanted me to put an LS in it and I almost did. I ended up putting a 405hp,406 ft/lb ZZ6 350 in it instead. It goes good enough for me and it was less of a hassle than LS. Looks cooler too.

It’s got Aluminum “fast burn”heads, roller rockers, Ls beehiive valve springs, forged crank/rods, 10:1 comp, 4 bolt mains, cam lift .474/.510, single plane hi rise intake and Holley 770 carb. Also put in a 6 speed Tremec Supermagnum.

Kinda like a dog terd on a string - that kid has one and I want 2! ....raw hp measured always looks good that's Y LS are measured like 1971 and back with the difference being older motors where lied abound power wise and actual stronger hp for insurance and hahaha hp vs weight limit.. Not gonna argue or debate facts or beliefs, when in the end you gotta lie about the old and prop up the new in order to sell products - I have both and it is 300 times easier to work on my sbc & BBc,Real Pontiac & Olds,Old Ford Windsor then my 5.3 or my 6.0 - I can tuneup 3 SBC in time it takes get last plug out on the right side! But I will say this here and Now! They're all equal junk when I have to fix them!

John I love this, because it happens in real life efd. But sometimes it really feels like, ""Hi, I'm Larry, this is my Brother Darryl, and this is my other Brother Darryl!" lol! It's like lipstick on a pig. The money I'ld spend on that beauty, is a set of Highway Rears, for the best mileage, and lowest RPMs for the Fragile', Leg Lamp of a motor that's in her. Check out Summit Racing for a cheap but great FI/Carb swap, for more MPGs, and BHPs. I think you'll have a line of bidders up to $130K, and a few who will go $165K without an LS swap, but done right.
