My daughter has a very strong immune system and takes vitamin D, zinc, C, B complex daily. When she becomes sick, with say, an intestinal virus, she becomes schizophrenic. She had her gall bladder removed and 2 days later had a schizophrenic episode. Illness seems to always be her trigger. When she is not schizophrenic she is 100% normal.

Which are the biomarkers involved? How much would it cost an effective test to identify those who suffer from autoimmune psychosis?

I have schizophrenia. I also suffered with an overactive thyroid. Could the two be connected?

certainly , i had systemic candidiasis for 5 years . WHen candida left , it left my immune system over-activated . That was the cause of my mental issues.

given the fact that i barley get a cold this question caught my attention, even tho it may be far from the point. by my experince i cant quite figure out why i suffer more or less with time and stress. when damage should cause permanent effekts in delusion. in the end im not a scientist. but i feel like that multiple traumas caused by violence against me, destroyed my trust in humans. this is fueld by constant information about human cruelty. the higher the stress the higher the flames, to a point were i cant even trust the closest persons anymore. every negativ information why humans can not be trusted will be brought up and combined in every way to be prepared for potential danger.

The title of this video reminds me the story of Susannah Cahalan the New York Post reporter whose story became a movie called Brain On Fire acted out by Chloe Grace Moretz.

How do you fix an overactive immune system?

Right now, you usually knock it out with steroids- like Prednisone. I've also taken methotrexate- which is a chemotherapeutic agent- which I later learned causes secondary cancers! NOT an option, in my book! I have SLE, so we have to knock out my immune system often enough. I really enjoy learning from Prof Cyndi. She's a great teacher. I've been watching her videos; I love her motivation for finding better treatments for people suffering with this. Also, remember she also talks about estrogen or oestrogen being an issue in this condition. I'm very excited about her & her hubby's pioneering works! Have you ever noticed, you have to break things down, into the simplest forms, the basic blocks, to find the right answers? I really studied cancer cures & all manner of things cancer in school- just everybody's else's work- & the ones that either had successful, non toxic treatment- these scientists broke everything down to the simplest, basic pieces, which were enzymes, proteins, peptides, etc. "Keep it simple, stupid!" Is a good mantra to have in finding answers. Oh, and there have been several cancer cure break throughs- throughout the years, however, due to the FDA in America, we're not gonna have a cure or cures. They're all in bed with big pharma! Very sad and wrong. 😖😢 Oh! I also did a little research & discovered that many women with lupus (SLE) all had Schizophrenia. Yepper! Then u add in those perimenapausal, middle- Aged women...and certainly younger ones with hormonal sicknesses...you get schizophrenia. It makes sense to me. 😉 I'm very proud of Prof Cyndi. Her brother would be so very proud, too! 👍
