Lindell offers gain matching when engaging the preamp section of their Neve clone as well. You can turn the gain matching on/off as well. What I like about the AO version, is that it got rid of the concentric pots that drive me bonkers when trying to easily adjust settings. Having two adjustments in the same space is just terrible for me. But here's the thing... if you're a plug-in developer... it's OKAY to build your plug-ins in a way that offers alternative GUIs. Yes, giving users alternative layouts and even the ability to redesign the layout (if they have the coding skills) is a BIG DEAL.

Started off with Abandonware, asking high prices for "special" plugins, then randomly removing the products, asking money again later for re-issuing them. There was a time when he'd almost weekly post on Facebook that he wants to sell the company, and people should pay him for the name. Uses Faust or something to create DSP code for him, has no clue what it's actually doing, you should see the clueless things he posted in the JUCE or KVR Developer forums, even asked users who had a clue if he could pay them so they do the work for him. His old SSL bus comp used to go silent if you turned the volume up, expected behaviour according to him. There was a minor scandal when some (or all?) of his (by then turned freeware) Windows versions contained malware or a virus or something. Sunk so low that he registered another website, advertised commercial products to the KVR crowd, was called out and proven to be behind the new company, still lied about it, eventually took the new website down in a matter of hours. He eventually admitted it, but never publicly apologized for the deception. In all the time he sold his products, and I know because I naively purchased a few to support a new developer, he didn't issue VAT on invoices, he probably never had his "company" registered. And yes, even in Turkey there's such a thing as VAT, just under some different name. All of this is still documented available to read on the web, if you don't believe me. OK, apart from the "we're a new company" lie thread that he deleted to wipe his traces. This Ridvan dude is the sketchiest of the sketchy, I will NEVER trust anything he does, and I definitely won't send any money his way. Even if he meanwhile learned actual mathematical DSP to do things in an original way, which I highly doubt. Yeah. Free is the only price those things deserve, and "caveat emptor".

And the other is NCARSE which is an emulation of a Neve sidecar channel. I use to record at a studio with a real Neve Sidecar and I swear just running stuff through this plugin without touching the EQ just warns things up. I’d love to see you analyze his plugins for harmonics. He must be doing something right.

I really like his plugins a lot. There’s a multi-pre plugin that gives a lot of different saturation options...all of his stuff seems to be useful as heck!

I really like the music you used for this video. Any chance you'd share where I can find it and what it's called?

Bro have u found it?
@solprins2 жыл бұрын
@@Baldinoficial No, but I can't say I've searched for it either. I wanted to try searching by lyrics, but I suspect that the line "thinking bout you baby" will just end up showing me two million other songs instead :-).

@@Baldinoficial Decided to give it a try using Shazam and I found it. If you're interested it's a song called "Lost and found" by I'm In. Here's a link: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bGO3i35on7qkh6c

I've discovered this dev the same day you posted the video, and now I'm watching you😂😂 It was due to some good opinions I've read on his *Rare, that is a Pultec emulation* , I'd really be interested in your opinion on it. That and the 1176 one, which I'm not sure if it's the OSS or the FETISH.

All these are clearly made by someone who cares. Every little feature is optimal. Total lack of frustration as a user. Case in point: gain compensation. Love this dev.

You should do a comparison between the N429ME and the real thing since you have the eq in the studio. (I know it's most likely modded or is modeled after a unit that just sounds a bit different than his but would be interesting to see)

What a very nice extra would be if those analog plugins have a option to hide and show a visual graphic, so you can see what you EQing with these knobs, if you not sure what you doing. Im sure for beginners this would be a helpful option and something i didnt see in any other plugin that emulates Analog stuff. Great Plugins and the Price/Honor System of the Devoleper is Awesome, Thumbs Up !!!

Try (also freeware) Bertom EQ Curve Analyzer. Try it on various companies' "Pultec" emulations and you will see how variable they (for instance) are

What was the actual track used when demoing the plugin?

Analog obsession plug-ins are very very nice, I know them from 6 months and now they are my main plugin for compressors and EQ. 👍👍🙏

Thanks so much! Many not-free plug-ins crash macOS Ventura still but somehow this developer has it all working. With Analog Obsession we can finally stop paying too much for things that don't work.

I just discover this short "review" today... funny to look and share your joy about the "gain compensation" on the Eq plugin... BUT I dont understand why there is no gain compensation option on the compressor plugin????
