No matter what anyone says, Andrew Tate’s views are the exact opposite of what the Prophet ﷺ taught us. I don’t care for what he has achieved in his career, the things that come out of his mouth about women, the niqab, rape etcetera is absolutely disgusting. The moment you start glorifying his words and ideas is the moment you slowly start to integrate his mindset into yours. Modern feminism is illogical in my opinion. I am a woman, and I don’t see the correlation between fighting for women’s rights and doing some stupid free the nipple movement. In what way is that meant to be empowering? I think that modern-day feminism is essentially fitnah. I believe that the Quran already states my rights as a human and as a woman. I think that both women and men need both feminine and masculine aspects. I say this because stereotypically emotions are associated with women and logicality is associated with men. There needs to be a balance with both fem and masc. energies in both men and women so that they aren’t disconnected from either emotions or logical thinking.

@@jamal7404 If he inspires men to be men, why does he talk about repressing your feelings because apparently as a man you are just meant to get over it? So, a man can’t feel emotions? So, all of our prophets that dealt with the hardest of situations and felt sadness and wept, their feelings weren't valid because they were men? Why does he talk so repulsively about women if his content is strictly for men? Is that what a man is supposed to be about? My view is that if it is easy for a man, and more specifically a Muslim man, to follow what he preaches, then you are not following the way of the Prophet ﷺ. Having a conversation about gender roles, such as in the podcast, is one thing, but making misogynistic comments that normalize violence against women is quite another. One of the prophets' ﷺ last words was to "look after the women". Are you following what he told men to do? How are you really protecting women by glorifying someone who justifies horrific actions against women? A man is not one who blindly believes dangerous comments made by others, as it is obvious that he is incapable of thinking for himself. Be a man and follow the Prophets ﷺ way. Not some guy that preaches many things that Islam is against.

@@jamal7404 Islamically, no verse states that a man or a woman needs to harden themselves, that’s number one. Number two, looking down on someone because they show certain emotions is completely cultural and I think many people would agree with that. Number three, there is a limit to everything in life, in this case, we are talking about emotions. Allah did not create us as emotionless robots. He created us all with weaknesses. If someone’s weakness may be that they are “too sensitive”, or cry easily, I’m sorry but that has nothing to do with anyone. Also, why are emotions always associated with sadness or crying? Is anger not an emotion? When men are more stereotypically associated with anger, nobody says that they are emotional or too sensitive. As a Muslim, you must know that there is not one accurate translation of the Quran. There are many words in the Arabic fusha language that have no direct translation in other languages. A man is forbidden to leave a mark on his wife. So, when you mention a “beating”, what exactly are you talking about? The verse that you seem to be talking about is often wrongly translated as ‘beating’ when in fact, the ‘striking’ in the verse is a symbolic gesture meant as a last resort. “Do not harm them in order to make it difficult for them” (Surah al-Talaq 65:6). And even if you still want to argue about the meaning of “striking”, Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him, said “It is a striking without severity”, and then goes on to say that a striking without severity is with a toothpick or something similar (Tafsīr al-Ṭabarī 4:34). The Prophet ﷺ declared that any man who beats his wife "is not the best of you," meaning "they're the worst of you". He also said that any man who beats a woman is not a good man. If anything, the Qur’an clearly states that a relationship is based on tenderness, protection, and mercy among many other things. Abusive behaviour towards women is forbidden because it contradicts the objectives of Islamic jurisprudence. Please research before saying things on the internet. People who may not be aware of what the Quran teaches may come across what you said and think negatively of Islam. Lastly, Andrew Tate objectifies women and disrespects them in a way that blows my mind that anyone can still support someone like him. He compares women to dogs and children. If you want to link what he says about how a woman must obey a man to Islam and Qur’anic teaching, it would be like comparing night and day. The Quran teaches men to put women on a pedestal and to treat them with the utmost respect.

@@jamal7404 By excusing everything that you’re talking about by saying that that’s just how the world is, isn’t a good enough reason. Many things in this world can be excused by that phrase yet that is not a reason to justify it. If you believe that this is how a man should be, at this point I genuinely do not care anymore since it’s clear that this is something that you are set in your ways about. However, something that I refuse to stay quiet on is your remark about the translation of the verse. The Arabic language cannot be 100% translated into English. It is as simple and clear as that. There are not enough words in the English language to explain what the Quran actually teaches. Unless you believe that backed-up sources about our prophet and his teachings and well-respected ʿulamāʾs understanding of Quranic verses are incorrect, then your whole argument here is baseless. Unless you research and understand what the Quran is actually telling you to follow in the original language, please do not say such remarks as they can be misleading. Again, it is not toxic nor misogynistic, it is the lack of translation accuracy. You cannot excuse domestic violence against women because of your beliefs on gender roles. If you still believe that your interpretation of the verse is the correct one, please do your own research. I am not here to teach you about the meaning of verses. You can do that in your own time. Also, about the gender roles situation, I do not look for what society tells me to do, I look for that in the Quran and I advise everyone else to do the same. Andrew Tate’s mindset does not align with religious beliefs but rather the cultural ones. Please understand that. Religion and culture are two completely different concepts, no matter how the world distorts culture to be religion, there will always be a difference. Disrespecting women is forbidden in Islam and that’s that. May Allah guide us all.

@@jamal7404 Clearly I'm wasting my time trying to understand you and to make you understand me so I'm not gonna waste my time trying to help someone who doesn't want to be helped. I genuinely advise you research more on the Quran and its teachings. I don't know where you got your so called 'understandings' of the Quran but it is so flawed. I am far from being perfect but I know the basics that I need to know. Again I suggest you do your own research and actually learn about Islam instead of claiming you understand the Quran and its teachings yet saying things that are the polar opposite.

I swear people’s mindset these days is so F’d up, being an “old-school man” is great. We need to have more of them if anything. I’m gonna be completely honest I think that if every guy had that old school thinking some girls wouldn’t struggle to find a good and respectful guy.

I agree with haider regarding modern feminism, modern feminism has made it impossible for some men to have that old school thinking. As to what nucci said about gender role he is also right. Men and women need to stick to their roles.

100% agree with the feminine energy point, sad thing is the girls we see in social media make us believe that we need to be more toxic and aggressive like them (as if it’s the new trend).

big up hussein and haider for the great episode! 🤩🫶🏼 agree on what you guys said abt the whole women trying to be more masculine. like why change your fitrah as a woman? only thingyou guys didnt really touch on was as humans we need the right balance of both but yeah u could say stereotypically or generally women are associated with more feminine energy and men the opposite. the problem is our society only rate masculine energy and feminine energy is seen as week.

Men don’t need to hear some random dudes opinions on how Men should act or behave. You have a perfect example of how men should be and that’s the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). Just like Muslim women should not fall into the trap of Feminism, however appealing it might look, it’s ultimately made for non Muslims to follow since Islam already gives us the answer to these problems. In the same way Muslim men should not fall for this Andrew Tate B.S, it ain’t for you guys, we already know what to do and what is expected of men as prescribed by Islam. It’s really disappointing that you guys are giving air time to the vile man. This is coming from a women.
