Is any player in the NFL under more pressure in 2024 than Deshaun Watson?

The Ringer NFL show did a podcast last week asking which NFL players were under the most pressure heading into 2024.
Deshaun Watson immediately came to mind, but the Cleveland Browns QB isn't the #1 answer according to both the Ringer & the UCSS guys.
While every little thing matters in the NFL, everything starts with the team’s quarterback and offensive playcaller. For the Cleveland Browns, this is even more true given how much they gave up to acquire and sign QB Deshaun Watson and going into his third season with the team coming off of a major surgery.
Almost everyone agrees that the Browns roster is full of talent there are questions starting with Watson. There is also a question on the offensive line but it is a great one to have with three starting quality tackles.
Watson hadn’t thrown in front of the media at all to start Cleveland's OTAs. With a schedule to throw every other day, the second to last day in May was the first time Watson’s throws would be captured by someone other than the team’s official accounts.

Not yet, but it's coming just watch. He is giving it all he has to return fully healthy and has been in voluntary OTA's from jump. He has dirt on his name and he is determined to get it off and most importantly proving everyone wrong when he proves himself right.

It's objectively false that 2nd half of Baltimore is his ONLY good play as a brown. It's just flat out false. He went 27/33 for 263 2 tds. Browns were basically blowing everyone out when deshaun was in. You can give the credit to the D but it's still a fact they blew out cincy, Tennessee, and arizona. Bal and Pitt were the only close games and he was clutch vs Baltimore. You can say the teams he beat stunk or the weather effected the other team or whatever you want but you can't say those games don't exist.

They are wrong. Deshaun Watson has the most pressure and it ain’t even close. Remember the Browns went to the playoff last year with Joe Flacco and he was sitting on the couch for half the season. The last time Dallas played meaningful games without Dak in the regular season they were terrible. Aaron Rodger is pretty much set considering how great of a career he had. Trevor Lawrence plays has been up and down but he still has potential, someone is going to pay him whether it Jaguars or another team, same goes for Dak. Also Kirk Cousin ain’t have that much success in the postseason either and he still got paid!! Deshaun has been below average in a Browns uniform. If this season he continues to play how he played in a Browns uniform minus the second half against Baltimore, he is done considering they changed their whole offense for him.

As a human being, I'd rather have $230 million than a SB championship. Watson got that. If Watson cared about winning, he wouldn't have sat out and demanded a trade from a franchise that went to the playoffs 4 times in 5 seasons.

I agree, not really any pressur on watson bc he is getting all that money even if he continues to play like a bottom 5 qb. He does need to prove to everyone that he can still be a serviceable nfl qb, hes definitely not a top 20 qb anymore, but can he be a backup or a bridge qb in the nfl after this contract is up. The stats right now say no. So big prove it year for watson.
