Happy New Year Jem. So for the next 4 months I’m off buying but this doesn’t stop me from doing a massive wishlist. I’m cataloging my makeup - mostly my single shadows- which includes a lot of shadows from pallets that I depotted or were magnetic. It’s a lot of shadows😂😂😂😂. I’m doing this as it will be easier to identify them for building BYOPs. If I’m interested in a new palette - I’ll be duping the vibes with my collection. This was originally why I started my singles empire building. BUT the. In 2923 and 2024 the indie brands came out with SOOOO many fantastic palettes, my dreams got derailed with the fantasies they were selling. I don’t have too many regrets with my palette buys BUT I could do with less palettes.

Happy New Year! I'm hoping that I have less of an urge to buy palettes this year but I have already bought 2 from Unearthly 🙈 (it's a pre-order that I won't get until March time). I'll definitely try to dupe first and the consider buying if I can't or I'd have to reach for too many palettes to do it.

I don’t have a primer base recommendation for whole eye. But I do use NYX glitter glue for shimmers of all kinds and find it very reliable. I have drier lids so I don’t really get much creasing but I do notice the NYX glitter glue is so good at keeping shimmer type shades no matter how finicky in place.

I think I will start using my NYX glitter primer for all shimmers. I do like to see how they perform without but my lids are being temperamental these days.

I vote for the third look only because that first pink in that look is so pretty! But for blending skills, look 2 is fantastic!

Thank you ☺️! I'm still working on my blending but it does get better all the time. The first look I did without my contact lenses in so I did pretty well considering that! 😂

Try Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy. I cant use those more heavy sticky primers for my shimmers anymore because of my aging eyes. I also used juvias place shadow primer #2 or #1 depending on what colors I'm using but these 2 are my ride or dies!!

I'll see if I can place an order to go to my friend that I can pick up when I visit. A few places used to stock Juvia's here but I don't think they do anymore 😞

I love the purple side. Could I be turning on green 😅. I think, maybe I’m just particular about what greens I like and how I like them. Like I’m a Cosmic Brushes Undergrowth type of green lover versus a Nomad Ireland Wild Atlantic Way type of green person. I really like the color stories of these Artitude recent duo palettes. I think I’m more drawn to the cooler tone one. In the latter end of this year, I’m hoping to try them as one of my new brands addition.
