The game will have 15 tracks at planned 1.0 release, thats not counting planned add-ons and DLC after that. Its basically a new platform that will need a bunch of work to get to the full thing. Once they stop the memory leak the FPS and graphics will get better optimization 👍🏼

I'm hoping the formating of models and the sound engine is the same or similar to ac1, we'd be able to convert everything super easily once people learn how the new physics engine works, and get used to modding it. Seeing how the cars drive, if the downforce works well this would be able to actually succeed ac1 well.

@@VGT1 the game probably wont be modded. It will have a mods section in the game and kunos will be able to choose the mods that stay in the game. The files of the game are encrypted so i doubt there will be external mods

Remember, this is just a Early Access, Not a Final Product, don't except Polished and Optimalized game until Kunos gonna release Final game in Fall 2025. Kunos and Devs released Early Access to gain feedback from community and players about what to change or fix in game.

the launch was super seamless for me. before i even loaded a race i checked and/or changed every setting in the game (i have never in 20 years launched a game and not needed to change settings, so this does not register as a flaw to me. there is always room for personalization. in fact i prefer setting each control on racing games because who honestly knows what button 15 is on their wheel?) i have only had 1 bug and its that AI start with their wheels turned but then they straighten out immediately after start. i also havent run into any of the performance issues others have had... no stutters, nothing, 70+fps at 1440p in races while using optimized settings for best frames and visuals. the game is on my gen4 nvme and the rest of my pc specs are 5800x | 32gb ram | 3070ti (you can build a similar PC with used parts for USD$800 or less easily, and it'll play 1440p all day long). all my drivers and software versions, even windows 11 are all up to date, and i even have the latest bios for my motherboard. my gear is logitech g29 | thrustmaster TH8s | generic ebay handbrake. all easily detected by the game and work flawlessly. (except my handbrake, that's got its own connectivity issue that is just the fault of itself) this launch has been hit or miss apparently, its been 99% flawless (for a EA title) for myself and a few thousand others if you count steam reviews, but its also been a painful launch for just a couple thousand others (ive seen a majority of the negative reviews are people complaining about the early access game not being finished, and then the other negative reviews are about online DRM but DRM is a separate plague of its own.)

I have played it about 45min, it has potential to be the ultimate sim racing of all time, everything seems so natural in this game it's so satysfying.. the physics are unreal, graphically also close to GT7 even surpassing with some elements.. car sounds are amazing as well, lack of content but seriously for alpha version this game is more then playable on my rtx 4070 on ultra. I'm going to spend some hours with tweaking.. potential is HUGE.

Game feels great and theres a base here, even if personally I think there was no reason for them to go into EA this early. The big issue here people seem to be ignoring is that if they restrict mods in the way that it looks like they are going to, this game is going to struggle to see the overall success of AC1. Remember, without mods, AC1 is just a decent physics engine with a barebones (not so great) game attached. ACC was successful, but yet very divisive. I'm worried people are giving Kunos a pass where in the past modders have been the ones to make the difference.

The shifter issues are because you're leaving it in the previous gear when you bind it... Its mapping the leaving and entering gear as one bind. For example, you bind first, works fine, you click second bind then shift first to second. What that is telling the game is you want the move from first to neutral as second AND the neutral to second to be the bind for second gear. Bind every one from neutral first. So Neutral bind 1, back to neutral bind 2, back to neutral bind 3 etc that way its only recording going into gear as actually selecting the gear. Took me forever to figure out

Tried to play this in VR and the game ran like garbage, With all settings on low i managed to average 7FPS. I have a Ryzen 5800x and an RTX 3070ti. Really hope they optimize the game

definitely no joy with Virtual Desktop or any wireless connection for me.. I use usb link connection to quest 3. I disabled steam vr overlay in steam app management.. disabled upscaling in game and restarted.. since doing that I can get ultra settings.. but stuttering with heavy rain and ai (at ultra).. Running 3080ti with Ryzen 9 7950x Was completely unplayable initially. I uploaded vids on my channel if I need examples. Good luck 🤞🏾

Its not going to fails as its got good bones ad the driving which is most important is OK. There is some stuff that I would have expected to " just work" from a dev like Kunos, stuff like perfect FFB or good AI. But it looks like the FFb needs tweaking and the AI is dumb as rocks. Online requirement is concerning, also the mod support needs to be done right. Buit it will take time for people to switch over from other sims and AC which had time to grow since 2014. Regarding that EVO is not gonna be a brutal sim, I dont mind that as iam not a hardcore sim racer. I actually would prefer Kunos building something like a ProjectCars 4 which has sim aspects but also offers alot of stuff besides just racing. A small career centered around the games content could work wonders, considering GT7´s career isnt good and FM8 is a flop. The OpenWorld is nice but this will not be a Horizon game and modders surely have better places in mind, Shutoku in this game could be great :)

lol nobody got paid. All the content creators and streamers literally had to wait on a live stream to buy it. It's EARLY ACCESS! Version 0.1.2.! Guaranteed when the actual game V1.0 releases in fall, it'll be substantially better in every aspect. They do this to gather feedback from the community so they can the necessary make changes. AC and ACC were total sht on initial early access. Take the most popular SIM, iRacing...they literally just added rain, after 16years!!!
