Is Astral Radiance REALLY a better INVESTMENT Than Lost Origin??

In this video, I explore what the better investment is out of lost origin or astral radiance. These are 2 great sword and shield sets. Pokemon Investing can be a fickle business at times. Is lost origin really the better set, or is it astral radiance?

Lost Origin>>>Astral Radiance IMO. Top high-end chase card is by far to me the most important factor for long-term potential of a sealed box and LO wins easily here.

I prefer astral but the majority prefers LO, plus the zard, tina, pikachu, snorlax make it a clear winner as an investment

I also prefer Astral. But I've had to give the win, just, to Lost Origin 👌 The giratina is just too strong a chase card!

I agree with you. I prefer AR more than LO, but I just don't think it has enough to beat out LO in the long run investment wise.

@ScagsWH13 the only thing that could change that is print run. If AR gets no reprint, it'll definitely stay ahead short term. But agree, in 10 years LO will be worth more!

Two decent sets and both are worthy long term investments… obviously LO will probably bring the better returns but AR will hold it’s own. Another brilliant video Michael👍

One set which super goes under the radar is Fusion Strike actually. It's an absolutely HUGE set. Maybe the biggest ever in Pokemon history for sheer number of cards. Had a modern classic Gengar, Espeon and a fair amount of great Mew pulls.

It's still super cheap here in Aus too. Probably the cheapest sword and shield booster box.

LO for me. IMO, in the categories it shines, it does so by a wide margin. The chase and TG are far and away the most important. Although print run and scarcity matter! Great content as always

I really think that Lost Origin is a Top 3 set from sword and shield era, I really do...although astral has some amazing cards, overall LO is just amazing as a whole. So for me the better investment, but just buy both haha problem solved

Lost origin all day got the big hitting gira! will always hold up better. Although astral is definitely alot better then people give credit to and I think it may be a lot less printed then most sets.

Pokeoz i really like your video's man. I got a question for you in terms of how you look at sealed product conditions when you invest in them. I can be so terrible in looking at every corner, every scratchen, every lose seal. You get the point. Do you do this at all? What are things you look at? And do you think there will be a big price diffrence in the future or as long as a product looks good a little loser seal or little scratch will not make that much diffrence?

I always liked AR, but sadly I wasn't able to get a case for AR. I think LO will do well long term and I stocked up 2 cases + 2 bb. Fingers crossed :)

Palkia is a playable card in the TCG, once the set rotates out AR will lose out on cards above 10

depends on your timescale, long term evolving skies, japanese 151, Crown Zenith, brilliant stars, lost origin, astral. In that order imo.
