My main reason for wanting Astro Bot to win GOTY (aside from the fact that it's a baller game) is the fact that Sony, just a few days after it's release, said that they didn't have any real stron original IPs So if this game, which showcases and celebrates those IPs wins, I'll chuckle. Maybe even laugh. EDIT: LETS F*CKING GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Sony said the "no strong IPs" thing as an answer to a question about whether or not they could adapt anything from their current line-up into a prestige TV series after The Last of Us was so successful and the old plans for doing this with God of War and Horizon seem to be falling through. It had nothing to do with their actual video game market. It's still a pretty dumb thing to say but I kinda get what they mean in that context.

This is a game that on paper has absolutely no right being so good. Like on paper youre exactly right, it's a shameless advertisement... Except it was actually made with a degree of reverence and clear Love of the Game energy that I truly believe the devs genuinely made this game not as advertisment at Sony's behest, but because they felt the catalogue deserved this kind of homage. There were a ton of good games this year, but I really hope this one wins GOTY. Desperately need other PS5 games that use haptics though, theyre so cool and no game but Astrobot uses them

I watch all four tulok channels(or at least all 3 that currently have content) because 1. Im a real tulok fan(jk don't gatekeep stuff its not fun for anyone im doing this ironically) and like tulok not only for his elden ring content because he's a funny cool guy that i wish every government would take notes from 2. I only didnt watch the Hades video because i havent played it yet and the Kingdom Hearts video because I have weird father issue trauma regarding Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts 3. Tulok also kinda hot like i dont wanna be creepy and simp over real peiple with real lives but like bro look at him hes so aesthetically pretty 4. Corey's editing is great, thank you Mango man 5. Soulsborne and Megami Tensei are my favorite franchises and i know hes aware of SMT because of references and the Hamuko/FemC build so i cant wait for some kind od SMT content to eventually show up on this channel
