🐶🐶WOOF WOOF! It's time to go back and review my favourite Batman comic: Hush! How does it hold up today? Did nostalgia make this book better than it actually is? . If you want to support the channel, I have a tip jar on Kofi, or why not treat yourself to a book from our channel's sponsor: OrganicPricedBooks! Be sure to use code WOOFWOOF every time you order for $2 off at the checkout! . You may notice the format of the reviews has changed. Honestly, I don't have a lot of spare time at the moment, and as polished as the voice over reviews are, it's about 3 times more work. Having looked at the analytics as well, the TLDW was more of a curse than a blessing since the retention was less than 15% for the last few reviews. I want to be able to keep doing reviews, so sometimes I have to adapt and change things up, and will see how this works. Additionally, I unfortunately live next to chavs. So between the drunk parties every other day because none of them work, and the screaming kids next to my window, it's a struggle to find time to film, so I couldn't afford to write a full script and had to go with the note format. Obviously I don't want to give up, so I have to improvise and hopefully it's still somewhat enjoyable :) . What do you think of Batman: Hush? If we hit 90 likes, I'll review Superman: For Tomorrow! Subscribe if you're new here, and share where you can! . Planning a Who Is next, who do you think it might cover? But until next time, stay Mad, Doggs! WOOF WOOF! 🐶

I agree this definitely isn't a flawless story, but it's a fun ride with some great moments and, of course, beautiful artwork. Definitely one of my favourite Batman stories overall.

Nice one mate, this was the first Batman story I ever read as well and still love it. The booty first in the frame is not something I’ll give them a mark down for as it what Jim Lee does best lol. The absolute is amazing as well every one should grab it for that art alone . woof woof 👌🏻🐶

I funnily enough read this book because I bought some Mafex figs related to the story (Nightwing and Huntress). The main reason to read this book is for the art. The story is mediocre with a cute romance/duo story with a convoluted ending reveal. A better mystery Batman story would be Long Halloween. But the characters who appear in this story are practically in their “definitive” forms thanks to Jim Lee.

I read up like half of this but never continued it. I liked it, but I had to study and shit, and never really picked it back up. This was like a month ago

I've never reread a comic but I think this will be the first one. I love this book so much

Yea this book is great. But it was definitely written in a way to give Jim Lee a chance to draw as many batman characters as possible

Nice video. Looks like I need to revisit this book, as my memory is fuzzy on the details. I remember enjoying the art very much, but the story was meh when I last read it 5-6 years ago.

I don’t know how anyone could NOT love this art. As many problems as I have with Jim Lee the one thing you could never say was that he wasn’t a true artist…. Until his cover for DC pride lol

Unpopular opinion: I don’t like Jim Lee’s art. It’s like Vince McMahon got to draw his ideal wrestler for everyone

Not every artist is for everyone. Theres certain stories and certain writers i dont like even though they are loved. As long as you enjoy what you enjoy. Who's you favourite artist?

Hush has the worst story. I personally don’t like Jeph Leob’s writing. Loeb’s Hulk stuff pissed me off. Loeb is, like, Michael Bay of comics. I do love Jim Lee’s art in Hush so much, though. Lee’s best work are For Tomorrow and Hush.

The first part of the story is good and I even like aspectes of the end but overall the ending is convoluted and Thomas Elliott's motivation is horrendous
