Is Beatrice Domond Actually any good at Skateboarding?

I'm not sure how to feel about Beatrice. This might just be proof that you just need connections to be pro in skateboarding. I mean it's the same with many other professional careers but still. There's people out there grinding their bums off trying to become pro. Them looking at Beatrice and comparing skill-levels , i believe they MUST be feeling like it's unfair.

Beatrice is helping Vans and skateboarding diversity problem.She a rolemodel for us black female skaters learning the art of skateboarding. As skateboarding in black community is seen as white hippie boy sport and like Terry Kennedy said you will get abused for doing it as black person .Get told you aint black enough and coconut. What Beatrice is doing for black community is revolutionary for black folk .Plus shes thin and tall and getting the modelling gigs.I use to get stop as teen thing black girl in the uk and as by white older men if I wanted to model.So I understand why Beatrice is getting modelling gigs. Better black female skaterboarders will come in time once the black community accepts skateboarding as sport.Plus many black countries dont ever have pavement and poor to put out black female skaters

I’m not upset that you said women’s capabilities are not on par with men, however it would be cool if you also reminded the audience that the talent pool for women is drastically smaller. If you go to any skatepark it’s pretty clear how much smaller the community is on the women’s side. The skill level gap will continue to narrow though as it’s more and more normalized and encouraged for women to skateboard.

Heres a hot take but i just cant watch most woman skate. Some are awesome but most bore me. Beatrice is no better then most people i see at my skatepark, hell there is a 16 year old girl that is absolutely amazing at my park sometimes, she was tre flipping over a huge A frame and crook grinding a round bar that is about 3ft high and goes in a half circle.

Very much not at all. She's obviously a double sided token rider for Vans being black and a woman. Same way that Cher Strawberry person became their mascot during the trans wars. 🤷 Vans always grabs a few token riders every time there's a reason to and she more than likely had an "in" through someone else. Skateboarding is very transparently political anymore. At least the professional side.
