Joa can skate, I'd say above average. Most people get salty with him solely because he'll say the things most people will only think about saying. Personally, I think he's a breath of fresh air, imo there's far too much bullshit and peacocking going on in skating. He's a cool guy.

Skated with Joa when he was 17 like at bay66 10 years ago. He was in england visiting family. He’s always been so good and was a nice dude. He has definitely adopted a lot of the English sarcastic humour from his parents and I think it goes over peoples heads a lot

If it’s always a battle to get a trick but noone sees you ride fast, it’s not my bag. I’m not saying he does that, because I don’t use insta. I said he SEEMS like the type to battle it out. I won’t usually grudge a trick if it don’t come naturally yet. That’s just me though. He also openly listens to top ten music, so his thrasher cred is low. In my book anyway.
