A friend of mine was getting hassled for living in his camper on his dad’s land and he ended up putting it in his dads pole barn . He likes it even better and the county can’t do nothing about it.

You live a life that a lot of people will never understand. I was stupid and chased the god almighty dollar and had a woman that stole it all before I retired. I admit it was my fault because I didn’t pay attention or watched what she was doing. I retired without anything but I am happier than I have ever been. Money doesn’t make you happy, being humble and honest means everything. May not have much but my life is bountiful and peaceful.

Life just takes the money unless there way more than the basic. Home, insurance for even the cockroach’s, lol, lights, fuel, vehicles, clothes, holidays fun stuff. Food basics for a family and broke month to month. Save for death is even hard. Not just crooked women is what I was getting at anyway. Insurance is to high and too much of a family budget. If you stop everything then eventually the government or family will have to deal with your healthcare. It takes money to make money is still true.

One of the happiest and contented people I have met this year has been living over a year in her truck camper. She has her social security deposited in her bank account. Lives off that. Last I saw her 2 weeks ago at our trailer we use at church to feed the homeless we hugged goodbye. She said she would decide when she got to 40 if she would do east or west. East would take her to 75 and South to warmer climates. West would take her to somewhere she was family is with that would help her with her camper. Not a worry. She sleeps and showers in truck stops and hangs out in public libraries and usually has a hot meal at area Sr Centers Mon thru Fri. She has gone from a walker to no walker and dropped a lot of pounds and healthier than this time last year. She is in her 70s. Still doing what I can to to help whoever I can. Keeps me going. Come get your snow!

If they ever come down on people living in a RV on land they own that would be really bad. Heck half of the new people who moved to Benewah county live in RVs. We live in our RV. We can’t afford to build a house with the high prices. We don’t have a choice, we have to live in our RV. They don’t want people having homes. That’s why they are making it so hard to live. Sad. Our home state of Idaho things have gone up so high that the blue collar worker can’t even afford to buy a house. Bill and Darla MClain Economic Refugees RV are very good friends of ours they have been full time longer than us and they now have a home base. We gave up on the Nomad life a year ago. You are so correct too many trash the forest human and animal waste all over, it is sickening and makes me very angry. The only issue is from the drug addicts who strip the RVs and what not and leave big messes. There's been a huge increase here in the homeless situation. I'm a 62 yr old woman who's been living in my car for the past few months not by choice either. Can't afford to rent anything, last place I rented a room turned into a living nightmare. I just hope now there's a change of guard things get better because I don't know how long I can do this. I have no one either which can make for a very lonely time and really want to get a dog. It's a shame that people who have so much love to give can't, meaning you can't go to the shelter to get a fur baby if you're homeless. That's not fair and not right. I understand the why of it but I've seen homeless people treat their animals better than home dwellers do that's a fact. I've had animals many throwaways too that blessed my life and I've been asking God to please bless me again. I'm watching a lot of these types of videos and I think about getting something bigger but I'm really worried about losing my dependable car, 2007 no problems in great condition, and getting burned with a lemon or money pit. Its happening right down here in the Twin Falls area. The county leaders dont want people living Rvs in your own yard on private property! The state is defending the countys position when a couple I know wrote to our Governor! This is from this winter too! They wont even give them til spring to find a new spot!

Heres what is said about it, Living in an RV in Idaho is allowed, but there are certain requirements. You must own your own land, which must be at least an acre in size, and you can only have one RV per permanent structure on the property. Living off-grid is also legal in Idaho, but you must follow state building codes, local zoning laws, and obtain permits for your off-grid systems

I just switch to working 4 months a year so I can camp in the mountains. People struggle with that idea it truly stresses my friends out. I always laugh and say it's the way I am I just can't stay put for long. Then they come to my camp site and start questioning their own existence. Most start to incorporate ways of their own version of freedom in their own life's.

I live in Australia, and although there are no laws like that (yet), there are restrictions on how long you are permitted to stay in a place that's not your residential address, so as long as you clean up after yourself and keep on the move, nobody cares (grey nomads). Even if they did bring in such laws, nothing much will change. As long as you don't stay in one spot for longer than 2-3 days, people won't notice and alert the authorities.

1 USC Part II, ART.4 (The Articles of Confederation and Perpetual Union (not repealed but amended), makes it clear, a person needs to have a domicile, a permanent place of abode, or a state may disregard inherent rights. One may have thousands of residences all over the world, so one nay be considered transient despite having a residence.Hotel guest are in residence for example. Domicile is a permanent home.

The RV lots in my area are at $650 mo. and then power is extra. The discrimination problem is that they won't accept anything older than 10 yr unless you pay by the day $65. I suggest finding someone with a ranch or farm and pay to park.

2 years ago, bought a Winnebago motor home, just in case home. Still haven’t traveled because I can’t afford to license and insure it. At least it there looking pretty. Tried to give it to my homeless grandson but it’s a 93’ and to old for the high fluting parks now. It’s very nice looking. Anyway I under stand is what I w❤as thinking. Pick on the poorest, then complain about tents.
