My city is killing it! 716 Benny on that 2001 HoVa Swag and 2004 Jadakiss. Got me feeling like a polo and a backpack days. This what I been waiting for with a Griselda album the past year.

Glad you reviewed this one! You NEED to check out the new Touché Amoré record! It’s called “Lament” & they are a melodic post-hardcore band. I think you’d find very good topics to discuss about the album!!

the line about the chains sounding like his fork could be refering to the sound of the fork when he is making drugs, on the track "scrap the bowl" he has a line about using a fork to make drugs or something but could be like you said. loving your reviews keep it up!
@anwartaylor60964 жыл бұрын
This. When cooking crack on the stove, u have to keep stirring rapidly or the baking soda will burn before bonding with the cocaine. The most effective tool for this is a fork, similar to when beating eggs. Or so I'm told...no actual experience.

The Joe Pesci is SPECIFICALLY homage to Rocnation and Jay-Z whom hes signed too. Its supposed to evoke Cant Knock the Hustle which it does. Oh and yes as my name indicates, we do use that tool to butcher meat. Not a general use tool, it's more for bone cuts. Cleavers are designed specifically for that use, as well as general chopping, but the shape of the blade indicates its proper use.

Will follow you until you become wack 🤣🤣 I get the feeling from this review that you'll love Ransom and his Director's Cut projects with producer Nicholas Craven (who btw is heavily influenced by french music). Hope you get the time to listen to those eps even if you don't do a video on them.

To nswer the title's question:NO! plenty rappers before him have went there and beyond "Last Dayz" by Onyx for example broke it down and there are countless others. We're just in an era now with no balance so the genuine sometimes gets pverestimated due to all the fluff out there. "Ten Crack Commandments" by Notorious BIG is another but the kist really is endless. This is why history is important
@professorskye4 жыл бұрын
Some good points there. And speaking of history... I did a long video about their second album here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/j52ZdaZtgr1kn9U

Except many of them weren’t actual drug dealers many of them were industry rappers who learned the game by some hustler telling them about it or living around them. These dudes got it in. I’m from buffalo. Also I’m not saying there ahas never been real thugs in rap before. But in the mains stream era, most were frauds. So it’s still refreshing.
@millyoneyedeaz13504 жыл бұрын
@@CranyumHipHop bro, the reason you don't need to state the obvious, is because its obvious 🥱 And learn how to stay ON topic in the future. Unless somebody i mentioned specifically would fit in the category you brought up, it was pointless to do so
@millyoneyedeaz13504 жыл бұрын
@@CranyumHipHop tf you being from Buffalo mean? The guy asked a specific question and you come rambling about something else. Nobody questioned if these dudes got it in. It was a yes or no question, there is no "except" Did Nas fake it? No. Did Rae and Ghost fake It? No. Did Biggie and Jay Z fake it? No. Go try and teach history of hip-hop to somebody who ISN'T a Philly MC. Beanie Sigel ain't fake it, I'm from here and said so (since we counting Buffalo as credibility) EVERYBODY knows there are studio gangsters,etc. it needs not be explained to anyone. ✌

I understand that u’re out of the loop as to the current trends of hip hop, but as a Hip Hop fan who came up in the last decade, psychologically honest gangsta rap has been a growing trend for at least the last 5 years now; Most notably 2015’s Summertime 06 by Vince Staples, G herbo’s PTSD which dropped on the top of this year, and practically any Mozzy project that’s dropped during that period.

This is why you will forever be on the outside looking in and be labeled a culture vulture you said u don’t care if he really did it as long as he can create art when in fact it matter at the end of the day that all that matters that’s the problem with hip hop now is that your people allowed all these rappers that never did anything penetrate this game of ours whites are the biggest consumers of rap because they want to be apart of the life and know our life but don’t really wanna know what’s going on out here nothin is half baked and they will never be wack because it’s real the real will always win
