Absolutely - contrary to the popular belief, the casinos can set the jackpot values to pay out higher if they wanted, but they won't for obvious reasons. Anyone who doesn't think casinos can do this should go research SET AND RESET chips.

Damn I was taken by ambulance to the ER Friday. Spent 9 hours having tests, Cat-scans, x-rays, and blood work ups, received a lot of drugs, and was allowed to return home. Advanced severe emphysema, leukemia, cardiovascular issues.. Not much can be done beyond morphine injections.. It is what it is, and that's what I have to look forward to each day.. 9 attempts to place an IV in one of my arms. The medic was dropping IV needles on the ground in chicken shit, not wearing gloves, using his mouth to pull the cap off the IV connector. It was incredible and when I told him to back off and let someone else with new sealed needles, he starts telling me how long he's been doing EMT work! I refrained from asking him how many of his patients contracted staph, or hepatitis, or any number of bacterial infections. I saw 2 friends die at San Francisco General Hospital from staph infections that nurses with unclean hands infected them. Always watch the hospital staff closely! I was in the ER at a very nice modern hospital with pericarditis and the ER staff were nervously excited and when the nurse went to install an IV in my arm, she dropped the bare unsealed needle on the filthy, bloody floor. She bent over and grabbed the contaminated needle and started to insert it into my arm! I jerked my arm away and demanded that she wash her hands and get out a fresh seal IV needle! The stupid old smooth brain beast did as I instructed, but if I hadn't been paying close attention, that old beast would have stuck that filthy needle into my arm. Watch the hospital staff closely and question everything they do!

WBG Question of the day from the KZbin comments, if you’re ready: WBG and EJ often bring up how volatile a slot is. Can you give us some examples (excluding old school physical 3 wheel slots) of what you think are the most volatile and the least? If every game becomes too volatile (like they keep doing with the new huff and puff games), wouldn’t that take away from the player experience and ultimately lead to people playing these games less ?

Realizing the higher volatile games will pay quite a bit more than the less volatile ones is likely the reason he plays the higher volatility machines. Every single game he tends to play seam to be the higher volatile machines I've noticed in his videos. The huff puff's, cow games (buffalo), the Frankenstein, the one's here all seam higher volatility to say the least. Then the one with the old miner and so many others. The "earlier" the machine, the lower the volatility. The first of the Buffalo, the first of the huff's, etc though they are still considered higher volatility games. Lesser volatility games are many of the lesser known/less popular games like the Early quick hit games and others.

not really since volatile games have the potential to win 10,000x or more. Now on the non volatile games you definitely win a lot more often but the wins are hardly anything usually 10-100x. It is a rarity to be able to win over 500x on those games besides ones with jackpots. For example on lightning buffalo(a volatile game) I hit a super grand chance on $2 bet and won over $1000 and jumped out my chair it shocked me so much. Now you most likely would never win that much in a million years on a non or less volatile game. An example of non volatile games are most old school 25 cent denom 3 reels where the max you can win is around 10000 credits. A more current example would be konami games where the center reel has two symbols in each spot that allow you to get up to 1000 free spins, also pretty much any game without progressives are as well..

That you have to take annual payments over time or given the option of a lump sum of about half the jackpot? Some casinos don't actually own the machines they have in the building. When it comes to the smaller amounts, the casino will pay them off. The large stuff, million $ stuff, the actual owner/manufacture has to get involved in those huge payments out. Some/many casinos only get to keep a certain portion of the intake on some machines they have on the floor.

I have a theory that for some machines, you get the bonuses more frequently and they want to make it seem like the game is good. Once you increase the bet, the machine goes cold and makes their money back.

Maybe but I think it's cyclical but also metered. They make the machines give wins once in a while but most spins lose your 💸 so... That's why I keep suggesting(noone listens) to only play a few(I mean really like 4 or 5) spins on any machine. When you see it doesn't have a pay for maybe like 6 or 10 spins, hop off there and try the next. My theory about rooms that have more than a few slot machines is: At any given moment, ONE machine there is about to pay out and that's why it's good to check each one only momentarily then go to another. I know it's better to never gamble tbh but I can't imagine sitting on any machine that's as cold as that drums game was for as many spins as they did. I would not have even gotten halfway thru that first innage and I would've walked on to a different machine.

Do you know poker hands? They hold cards at the bottom to try and create good hands up top. Depending on the hand dealt, you get a multiplier on the next hand. It’s not that difficult to understand. Keeping hands to increase the multiplier and hopefully take advantage of it.

@@robertwingfield9865 yes, I do know how to play. I’m saying I only hold one of the cards, not two that are differently suited. Let’s see if I can explain it better. Playing jacks or better (single hand) dealt a jack of diamond and a k of hearts, do you keep both? I always hold a single Ace, four aces pays good. Does that make sense? My mom and I played video poker every time we went to the casino. Have had many royals.

@@jc00p012 I figured it out. It’s because they are playing multiple hands. I have only played single hand. Would you still hold them like that, or just a single card? If they are differently suited, I wouldn’t hold both, I would just pick one or the other. I would always hold just the ace because they pay better.

I agree the higher betting often turns into a loser; unless you have the bank roll to absorb the losses and come back. The $50 bet seems to be your sweet spot based upon your bank role. Love watching you guys.

WBGQOTD I understand the $1200 hand pay on U.S. land based casinos, but what are the laws regarding handpays in other countries. I was curious because I wouldn’t think the U.S. laws apply on a cruise ship. I understand that the casino would want to check the machine for a malfunction, but the $1200 would be too small for that I would think…. Also, what is the requirement for reporting, as in a W2G, in international waters? Is it still reported to country of origin?
