I am biotechnology engineer with specialization in drug biotechnology, I've done molecular dynamics with GROMACS in my thesis and I will do some master's thesis on Autodock4 (also learning Python at the moment). 3 questions: Is Master's enough to get a good job in Europe in some industry to go with path of bioinformatics? Will it be sufficient to maybe learn other things on my own or do I need some costly courses to make? Where I can get best ways to learn free of charge?

Yes Masters with skills in bioinformatics is good to get a job! Skills depends on your expertise: Drug designing: Alphafold, Docking etc NGS: Single cell genomics, ML based NGS etc. Software: Nextflow, Snakemake, Cloud Computing, Git etc. Yes you can learn new things like AWS, Nextflow, Containerization, Git, Agile methods, Software development, etc. All of them are available for free. Make sure you have a github account with ample amount of projects. Best Resources: KZbin

How necessary do you think a Ph.D. is in the US? Or do you think a master's is sufficient?

PhD from Europe and Job in US is the perfect combination.
