Straight up declaring something "Haram" which may be bad, but not explicitly haram-level bad, has plagued many countries. It has horrible effects on many muslims, and many a times it backfires. Many muslims start to feel excluded due to these fatwas, and go down many rabbit holes of atheism and whatnot. This is a very real thing and specially the older folks who dont realize this, lead to many such cases

Any large corporation can facilitate a jumua gathering, but they just choose to actively not allow for it. I wonder why.

It is the issue of justice in the economy. The real economy as stipulated by classical economy Production must have input of capital and labour. The problem of Bitcoin is with the earning generated within the system which they term "mining" . Without clear business (product or service of the bitcoin) the income earn from the system is problematic. it is very difficult think how income could be generated. The possibility is that the 'mining' is like printing money privately and the money then is distributed to the participants. From Dr Israr Ahmad term of riba' is earning from capital without labour. Bitcoin as I understand generated huge income within short period to the participants, thus high degree of riba'.

Bitcoin has no government backing. Millions of Bitcoin are also unaccounted for and there's only a finite amount of Bitcoin that will ever be generated, so it won't replace fiat money. You cant spend it like you do your actual currency. But what you can do at best with Bitcoin is treat it like a trophy that you might be able to gamble on its value one day. BTW it's not a tangible item. It's digital.

It's not wajib to stick to any particular madhab. You follow the sunnah of the prophet (s). Why do tell the people to stick their madhab even though there is evidence to do otherwise. I am sorry anyone who would tell his followers to stick to someone other than the messenger of Allah is an ignoramus and can never be someone of knowledge.
