I still play this game consistently 9 years later. hearing you shit on the campaign for reasons you don't specify is frustrating. I can only assume it's because of an unwillingness to look into the only story COD has ever tried to produce that isn't very easily recognizable on the surface level. It's not executed the best but to call it the "worst in COD history" blatantly exposes the fact that you simply haven't played it yourself. Apart from the numerous gameplay tweaks that are made such as the improved class system from bo2, the cybercores system allowing you to have many different playstyles, and the tactical mode meant to synergize with the first campaign to ever allow COOP (might be the only one still, not sure.) the story is incredibly deep even on a surface level and gets even deeper if you actually look, and people misrepresenting and not giving it the time of day is the reason that not a SINGLE COD campaign has ever even attempted to tell a story as deep, because even though the execution isn't amazing, people don't even consider what WAS there. On top of this, there's also an entire alt campaign involving zombies that while not canon is pretty cool and definitely at least a nice thing to have. the multiplayer is still fun and engaging despite the cheating issues and even for me, a PC player, is not as bad as apparently you have had it. you also claim the game is pay to win and while that's slightly true with the supply drops, the black market does have numerous ways to unlock a guaranteed weapon excluding duplicates such as the win 75 games challenge that repeats and gets you a free gun AND melee, so it's also kind of win-to-win. your wins will stack on top of each other and it makes it significantly easier for free to play players to unlock the weapons as they came out if you were actually playing from the start, although it is of course very difficult for new players. The prevalence of modded lobbies on PC makes this incredibly easy as there's a good chance you could walk away from the average lobby with another 100k cryptokeys that activision don't care about and will let you have. I also should add that you claim bo3 to be the "worst hacking experience by far", despite the fact that in black ops 1 and 2 on steam currently, connecting to ANY online service will allow someone to run code remotely on your machine via demonware (COD's backend software), which is basically the worst possible security vulnerability and will let any script kiddie run anything they want on your computer. the zombies is by far the biggest highlight of black ops 3 and the biggest part and amount of content, but you only mention in passing that the zombies in bo3 is the best zombies in the series but that feels like you did a major disservice in only giving it a passing mention when the mode as a whole deserves significantly more to that. you also forgot to mention that black ops 3 also has custom zombies on the steam workshop and not just the standard. Zombies Chronicles used to be the MOST SOLD DLC OF ANY GAME OF ALL TIME. And if that isn't saying something, i don't know what is. Currently Zombies Chronicles comes bundled with the game for free as well, so that's another massive bonus to the game. and all of this was totally swept under the rug. overall it seems like this video was incredibly rushed and left out some of the biggest parts of the game or features added to the game to enhance progression or make it easier to get certain items, in order to justify a negative perception you got from an admittedly very bad, but not unplayable bad (delist worthy, as you suggest) hacking situation in multiplayer. zombies and campaign get about 20 seconds between then and cheating in multiplayer gets most of the runtime. it feels like you did not even touch 90% of the game when "revisiting" it to make this video.

I am actually playing through the campaign for the first time right now! I have had the game since launch but just never played the campaign, I usually don’t in most cod games, but just got a little burnt out on zombies the other day and started the campaign for some reason but am actually really enjoying it!! I am on the second to last mission right now and really surprised by how good it is and it’s a pretty good length too, I noticed that all the achievements for completing the missions have like less than 3% player base completion rate lol most people just assume it’s bad and have never given it a chance, would actually highly recommend people playing through the campaign it’s pretty good! The zombies is obviously one of the best we ever got and multiplayer is fun too but just broken now days and the developers don’t care to fix it anymore.

I absolutely loved this game. Best COD by far IMO. I think this game would have had a better run if Infinite Warfare hadn't pushed people to that point of being so burnt out with the future shit. BO3 had some futuristic elements to it but it was still very well grounded. There was nothing better than getting that final kill and getting the kill cam AND being front and center with most kills.

If you're a Zombies player then yeah PC would be the version to get, of course DO NOT play Online cause yeah there are security vulernabilites. But PC zombies has the workshop content and there's hundreds of maps to pick and many made daily so you'll never run out of content to play. That's the only reason I could think of to get the game tbh, because yeah the sheer amount of content is crazy and some people do some shit you'd never expect. Look at a map called Nightmare for example.

​@@barnabassch.644Yeah you'd be fine, just don't play Zombies online with people without taking precautions (I wouldn't anyway) cause I've heard there's RCE Exploits in the game but I think you can get around those. But yeah if you just wanted to get it to play the base Zombies and custom workshop zombies content and with friends privately you'll be fine.

@@barnabassch.644 Remote code execution, basically sending and running code through the network. Also, as long as you're connected to the game server then there a chance that you might get hacked. Best bet is to play it in offline mode or run the T7 patch.

I always conflict on getting it because I heard the campaign is bad but the zombies and multiplayer are great. But the multiplayer is full of hackers so that just leaves zombies. And for a $60 dollar price that’s not enough.

Quik fixing of the information. Treyarc has fixen the modded class setups like invincibility glitch and stuff. There are no hacker on console. Some people do have more attachments or perks that is possible on guns. On PC i think bo3 is indeed full off cheaters

Imo I really don’t think this is a good cod, even without the hackers. I just wasn’t a fan of it and much rather play bo2 which was still really active at the time. Yeah I did put some time into this game but not too much because it wasn’t really up my ally. Bo4 is infinitely better than bo3 in every regard except for zombies. And I still think bo4 has a better story than bo3 even though bo4 didn’t have a campaign 😂. Bo3 for me is like a 3-4/10
