but what production committee would pick up Bleach as a project? and what would be the aim of the Bleach anime? Usually animes are investments to boost the sales of their source material. But Bleach sold/sells very well without having an anime series. So the only reason to make an anime is if a TV company can make money out of it. But Bleach was shut down in 2012 because TV Tokyo didnt expect as many views as the show that took over its broadcast time. (Rock Lee's springtime of youth btw) And now in 2017 lot less people watch TV, and on demand streaming pays even less. I dont see anybody who wants to fund the Bleach anime production just because the fans want it. Maybe Netflix.

Console game will never happen. Consoles are struggling to sell in Japan. No sane publisher would fund a large bleach project, pay for the license, just to sell 10k copies. Brave souls is popular because it's mobile, which is where the Japanese market is.

Iv'e never been quite sure why they've slowed down on the bleach merchandise and stuff, but it seems to still be incredibly popular. bleach has been a pretty large part of me for the past few years and it's my favorite anime of all time. i want to see it continue for a long time to come. The anime, the merch, the games, everything. I think that if they game a ps4 game going for bleach that more and more people would want to get in to it and will have a big jump from what it is now. they can sit there and say that making a game would not be good enough and that that would not sell the quoted amount of copies that the goal that they have set for the game. if they try and make the game like Naruto or Dragonball Z game I am sure that a lot of people will buy it and be able to rise bleach up even higher from what it is now.

I think the comparison is a bit off. Nisekoi and Assassination Classroom are relatively short and honestly not as iconic. A better comparison would be Toriko, since it's almost as long as Bleach. IMO, Bleach gets updates and talked about more than Toriko. By "dead", you mean irrelevant, then no. Look at Death Note for example. Years after it ended, people still talk about it casually to this day. Promotion or not, I believe Bleach will have the same relevance. Not to mention we still get Bleach-related updates week per week, both from Japanese and international companies.

Also I forgot Bleach was the best anime during it's golden age. Plus my few favorite moments in Bleach was. First one like anyone else it's there favorite too, was when Ichigo unlocks his bankai and fights against Byakuya Kuchiki. My second one is Ichigo get's 2 swords, due to the fact he is part Quincy. My third one is he goes to Hueco Mundo to rescue Orihime. My final fourth one is Ichigo is, when he uses his new Hollow form and uses Cero against Ulquiorra. I have more favorite moments. But it would be too long to list. But still I wish they would bring the anime back.

Bleach was never the best anime. there were anime like Death Note, Code Geass, Tengen Toppa Gurren Laggan, FMAB, etc, that were way better

Clee4000 Bleach manga was 3rd only 1 time in 2009. most of the time it's 5-7. at 2011 it went 8th, in 2015 it went 21st, and in 2016 that it finished it was 17th

The only way that bleach can be describe as "Dead"; is if your in some weird way referencing the fact that it is a story about ghosts. Bleach is a bit like Dragon Ball Z... Even after the show anime ends it will still have fans, who will continue to buy its merch. One day the anime will come back when someone wants some more money... Hopefully they will give it the a good team (like the one they had last time) when that time comes. Its name is still confusing to some though; KZbin has put "WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DRINK BLEACH?" in my suggestion box because I watched this... LOL.

I've been waiting for this anime since only around late 2014 earl 2015 and I feel for people who've been watching from the beginning. I didn't get into anime till early 2014 thanks to Naruto but when I caught up on that I went to bleach next and loved it. Was sad to see it end when it did and I tried reading manga in general less impact since I need the music and stuff to see it out. Was sad to see the manga end and still for anime return. I buy all the manga and dvds and even started buying the blu rays. Still waiting for season 3 though, it's been 9 months..

I don't think Bleach will ever be DEAD. He created too expansive a world with too great an ensemble cast. I don't think Bleach will ever be done with Kubo until he's told everything and everyone's stories which he certainly hasn't done. Just a few examples: Questions about OLD history - why did the Souru Sosaeti need an organized Seireitei created in the first place? Who knew what when in the uncovering Aizen plot? We know the only way to the Soul Palace once upon a time ago was the Shiba Flower Crane Cannon. The Senzaikyū is made of seki seki, which is also required to keep the cannon contained....the Senzaikyū is huge - why would you need a place that tall to house {a} prisoner? It looks more like the column that came up out of the ground when Kūkaku shot the group into the seireitei. And it makes sense that the Gotei would have needed the Flower Crane Cannon transport system close by. So what happened? Why was it moved? There so much left to tell and I just don't think the characters and the world he created will ever let him go until it's ALL finally out there. And even he's admitted he's lost pages of notes over the years.

I commented on this elsewhere, but here we go: I remain hopeful it will make a comeback but am prepared to be disappointed yet again. For years, I was certain that the Anime would come back when the Manga ends, sure that the reason why the Anime stopped was because they didnt want to make filler anymore and let the Manga gain some distance before adapting the 1000-year Blood War-Arc in one filler-free run. So I waited. Then the Manga ended abruptly with an important announcement: Against all expectations, a live-action-Movie would get made, a decision which puzzles me to this day. Obviously, there is still interest in this franchise (else, they wouldnt pump money into an expensive project such as this) but I coulndt understand why they won't continue the Anime instead. But then I realized that Bleach and Naruto were animated by the same Studio and they probably wanted to end Naruto before focusing on Bleach. So, I waited again. Naruto was milked mercilessly with countless filler-episodes, but it finally ended... and its sequel, Boruto, began production almost immediately, despite its Manga not having much of a headstart (inevitably leading to even more filler). The (for Bleach-Fans) sad reality seems to be that the distance in popularity between the two franchises is so big that they'd rather come up with Naruto-Filler than adapt canon Bleach-Stories. At this point, my last and only hope lies with the unexpected Live-Action-Flick and the possibility of it being a hit. The Anime *might* come back in the wake of its success, if it doesnt then Bleach is finished.

it doesn't matter how much the live action movie will sell, etc. shueisha doesn't want to make Bleach anime. otherwise they wouldn't stop the anime and cancel the manga with rushed ending. shueisha wants Boruto and Black Clover that starts October 3. Bleach anime+manga are dead

As much as I want Bleach to come back, if it's fate relies on the live action movie doing well, it is doomed. All live action film adaptations of anime and/or video games fail miserably. I mean, look at Mortal Combat and Assassin's Creed.
