She is a board certified dermatologist and not some corner beautician. She definitely knows what shes talking. Understand the science of bleaching and then talk. It does not change the color of your skin it just bleaches your facial hair and that makes you look clean. People who have have thick facial hair will have to do laser as bleaching will not help them as much.

Yea that’s why it’s important to take every dermatologist’s advice with a grain of salt. Bleach is a big no. We have wonderful exfoliants and I would just stick to them.

@@na2939 no there isn't but you do have to ensure you go to a professional who know what temperature to set the laser on dark skin so there is no risk of burn. I had at around 21 sessions before it all went.

You should skip Retinol if you're going to bleach and don't use retinol after 3-4 days after the bleach. Your skin has to come back to it's normal condition before applying retinol otherwise it can react due to sensitivity.
