Momoshiki must've forced his way out at some point during Boruto's time with Kashin Koji and whatever happened traumatized him. It makes sense. We saw how strong momoshiki was when he was taking over boruto pre-timeskip. Now that base boruto is easily above jigen, momoshiki's floor while taking over boruto's body is easily within the realm of isshiki. With all of boruto's known and unknown powers that he gained through the timeskip, momoshiki has access to all those, most likely even creating is own. Just like he did with rasendan. If momoshiki were to take over, he would kill kawaki, feed him to a ten-tails, and the world would be over.

So like you know how Kaguya came to care about people and learned to love, and how kurama had a similar experience while inside Naruto as he grew and matured? What if something similar happened with Boruto and Momoshiki? Like maybe being trapped inside Boruto and experiencing his experiences (possibly feeling the feelings he feels) starts to have an effect on him. I don’t think it would be an immediate shift but a slow an gradual one that requires a few major situations/experinces throughout the slow slope to push it in that direction in order to justify/make sense of it. I think it would be cool to see Momoshiki be surprised by Borutos actions, reactions, and reasonings how antagonist and Naruto’s fellow shinobi were by Naruto’s in the original shows before he inspired them to have a different perspective.

What if Kashin koji and Boruto went to Orochimarus hideout to look for a new host to cast momoshiki into? Earlier in the anime in code arc boruto and kawaki also discussed the idea of boruto putting a karma on code. Than kawaki would kill borutos body. Its unlikely but its not impossible. I mean momoshiki cant resurrect himself but if boruto puts a karma on a dummy body and than proceeds to kill it before momo awakes, than momo is dead. And boruto could use his ototsuki dna to power up.

Momoshiki's chance of resurrection ended, when he revived boruto . Their souls are sort of linked together . Even if new vessel dies , Momoshiki's soul goes back to boruto. Kawaki has finally found his trump card. At first boruto was in the advantage of his shinobi training, but if kawaki unlocks karma in front of boruto he will be unlocking it too. And momoshiki could come back using powers like uzuhiko.... So every trust he had worked for, will be nullified. If shikamaru stops covering for him. But as he uses karma in time skip forward scene, it confirms he'll.either bond with Momo or be able to tame him. With Kurama returning in some capacity I wanted to get your thoughts on this: Would Naruto technically be able to re-enter Six Paths Sage Mode now that Kurama has returned? My thoughts on this matter is that, if anyone has Chakra from Kurama left over, it would be Naruto and since Naruto’s Kurama being the mediator for the Tailed Beast meeting and discussing things with one another, I was thinking with the possible residual Nine Tails Chakra in conjunction with Kurama being alive, Naruto may not get Kurama himself back nor a KCM Cloak but this could open the possibility for him, once he’s inevitably unsealed, to not only have access to his Six Paths Sage Mode again but to upgrade it as well. This may just be me coping and hoping for a power-up for Naruto later down the line but I think it’s interesting to think about.

Boruto might be terrified of using Karma as of now, but I don't think he can avoid it forever, as sooner or later he has to face Momoshiki at some point, where hopefully a showdown between them can take place, similar to how it went between Sasuke and Orochimaru!

As we saw when kawaki n boruto final fight boruto knows howbto control his karma i think the jougan will allow him to push momoshiki out or non existent in his body another idea is if orochimaru allows boruto to place his karma on a white zetsu then somehow the process goes quick and he takes over the whige zetsu pretty fast and hes rid of momoshiki something will get boruto in control of it because we see he use it fighting kawaki on the great stone faces so he will control it

@NarutoExplained I know you already made a video on how Momoshiki can still resurrect and whatnot. But I saw a tweet asking, why does Boruto despite being 100% full otsutsuki still has a karma? Isn't the purpose of the Karma is to extract the data of the otsutsuki, now that it is fully extracted, why does Boruto still have one? Will it disappear overtime? Both Boruto and Kawaki have karma despite being 100% genetic otsutsuki already, none of the other otsutsuki we know have a karma.
