BOCW has been the most traditional and arcade COD of the last years. I put more time into the game since BO4 altogether. If they had fixed these 3 things (scorestreaks system, matchmaking and disbanding lobbies) this will be a top tier COD, but in the end it's very good anyway.

I put way more time into BO4 cause that game didn’t have SBMM and was more fun atleast for me. They also balanced the weapons better for the higher ttk then they did in Cold War which always confused me.

I loved Cold War, it felt more like a classic CoD in a lot of ways, and the original maps were pretty good too. It's the last one I got to play extensively before getting another gf and not having time anymore.

My problem with the game was just how tuned up sbmm was. I never did have fun in this game during its life cycle, by season 4 I was just done with it and then I came back right around when the marshals dropped, and that also turned me away since that’s all I would face on top of the ultra sweats. I tried to love it but I just couldn’t despite being a big fan of treyarch.

I feel this, I quit after season 3 because it was just sweat after sweat after sweat. Came back once after 6 months, played 1 game that was casual. Then the next 3 matches were super sweaty. I gave up on it

Have you tried it recently? I feel like they turned sbmm down since its older and the player base decreased. Also to get less sbmm, chose one not too popular game mode. They will have to turn sbmm off to get you in a game with reasonable ping in a reasonable time. For example, I only select demolition and often i get average lobbies.

played this for a long time and never had a problem with sbmm in this game. i actually ended up having a 2.17 kd at one point and im normally sitting around 1.3-1.5 in most games. edit: i also only play SND normally.

Cavalry Lancer barrel on LMG's is underrated in Team Deathmatch. You just delete most airborne score streaks. Put it on the M82, and with enough practice, you 2 tap enemy UAV's nearly as soon as they appear. This game has a laundry list of anti air options to counter people who camp for certain streaks.

Bro I was a super huge defender of Cold War because I thought it was actually super fun I enjoyed more than mw2019 cause that game was literally nothing but camping. It’s the only cod I’ve been playing besides CodM. I only play hard point for MP but when there are 24 regular 6v6 maps it’s nice to not play the exact same maps every play session. Also have gone back to get dark aether as I quit the game before the third zombies map dropped and I’ve been enjoying myself. Also don’t have to worry about ginormous updates .

They nerfed snipers by adding flinch (not much) and nerfing the airborne elastic wrap, they were still pretty good tho. This is my favorite cod after the last 4 or 5 that have been released. I feel like there was something for everyone (MP, ranked, Zombies, etc.) good post launch content, perk system and wildcard could have been tweaked a little bit (one additional perk and attachment instead of 6 and 8 for perk greed and gunfighter respectively)

Snipers are still Goated The movement is pretty good. You just have to tap sprint to be fast. Meaning you sprint pretty much until your gun goes down stop and then keep doing that over and over again. Only issue I have with it is there’s a good bit of cheaters these days and recently I’ve had a lot of server crashing like significantly more than usual

Cold War is great. Nobody uses the Ironhide and it’s better than the marshals if you have the task force barrel, tight ads spread, high ads movement speed and low sprint to fire. It’s a mini hand cannon similar to the ksg from bo2
