I just realized this video is literally the sonix “the matchup is unwinnable. Give up.” Picture personified

It’s very sad that nobody in the workshop 4 has been beaten in any context. Especially sad that CakeAssault didn’t force Zeebee off the Mollo and onto the Kragg in the background of the OG vid

Some things I wanted to clarify: 1. I'm not trying to harass Neos or send any of you to harass him. I just think that a video like this getting 1k views in the Rivals space while spreading entirely false information isn't healthy so I wanted to make a counter balance to this to hopefully offset this. This vid obviously isn't as algorithmically viable than his video so, I doubt it will offset all of it, but I felt that I needed to do something for my fellow Workshop 4 players. The hate can be a lot at times. 2. Feedback is appreciated on this video! Especially stuff concerning Sylv projectile stuff because I'm not super knowledgeable on that. Maybe it's almost as bad to use offensively as Hodan side special! Sylv players plz chime in on this. 3. A lot of the players used in examples of ""camping"" have heavy quotations around them, since full on camping just isn't a good strategy. 4. The strays that Qunne threw out to other players shouldn't be taken super seriously (watching it back he was surprised at how many he threw out LOL). Maybe he shouldn't have lost to Giga at Riptide 🤷♂ Don't expect any more videos like this going forwards. I only really aim to create uplifting, new videos on the games that I love going forwards :3

“You wanna see how many nairs I can hit in one second?” 10/10 video actually I tried to watch the og to preface myself before this but I couldn’t even make it all the way through, it’s so painfully from the perspective of someone who doesn’t have the skill, experience or mindset to back up what they’re talking about. like yeah I get dogged on by Hodan and Pomme but it has nothing to do with camping and everything to do with me not having good enough fundamentals and not knowing the matchup well enough yet yall also are just entertaining commentators lolol

@@hesho24 Wait, did they really confirm that workshop characters are going to be in Rivals 2?
@hesho246 ай бұрын
@@xxxxxxxxxx16 yes. It was on Twitter as a response to someone asking if all the rivals 1 characters coming back included the workshop 4 and they said yes. Apparently they’ve confirmed this before but this was most people’s first time hearing about it. You can find roughly twenty million quote tweets seething and malding about it

It’s probably the reason why the software neos video even came out it the first place

This was clearly not my best moment. Ever. And i though the gimmick video was already bad. I watched everything. And it makes sense. So i cant really do much but agree. So ill just talk where my head was at and what needs to be done after. Usually when i play people my skill level in this game whether it be online or when i used to play... it was campy. Whether it was random clairens online or just fucking around with emcee. I always did better when i just stood there and just waited. Basically not interacting with the opponent. So that was what happened for a long time... so i just... didnt like the game. So i thought the metagame was like that. Especially since the ws4 were broken at the time. I made a video about workshop 4... frigo explained that i shouldnt upload it...I didnt play for awhile. Then i heard on twitter that people were talking about workshop 4. So... i had this unreleased video and just thought "hey maybe itll be cool" and it wasnt. Clearly im not good at the game. And prolly never will. But you guys are right... im doing damage to the game from the vid. And now idk what to do. If i leave the video up its just disinformation but if i dont then people are just gonna believe im saving face. When im not. There is 1 thing though. I actually do love Rivals 2 Neutral. Ive played it for a little bit. I think its cause shields exist. I like inching forward and baiting people because of the new option. I think i dont like getting hit multiple times. I like that techning on the ground isnt safe persay but it adds a little extra protection. And although percent can rack up, when i get hit i understand what needs to be done. Idk what ill do with the vid. Ill see what others want but. Im sorry.

Please don’t let this discourage you from learning the game. I understand your headspace from reading it but “I’ll probably never be good at the game” is only true if you give up. Rivals (and even more so rushdown revolt) is very hard to get into because the player base is so small meaning about 80% - 90% of people you play against are REALLY FUCKING GOOD. I know I was definitely discouraged by that. But I hopped in the discord and watched guides and watched vods and played the game alot and I lost alot. And now I have 1,414 hours in the game. And I STILL get cooked by people online sometimes. Because the skill ceiling is so high and there is so much to learn and get better at that you’ll never really be done. Every now and again I STILL learn about tech that I had no idea even existed. And that’s beautiful. You don’t have to play the game if you really don’t want to but I truly think you’re missing out if you do. Idk anything about sylv. I play orcane, am trying to pick up maypul, and dabble in absa and zetterburn. But I do know that giga bowser (or just giga for short) is a top level sylv player you could watch and I commentated a ras and there was a sylv player named zoo-something (no it wasn’t zoomander) who’s gameplay had my jaw on the floor the entire time I was watching them. I’ll edit this is if can find their name. Edit: I’m pretty sure it was zookorai. Edit two: apparently they’ve quit playing rival so you might not be an able to find games from them easily. A real shame. They were one of the most fun players to watch I’ve ever seen.

I appreciate you privating the video. I hope you take this as an opportunity to start putting more research into your videos, as this could’ve been avoided if you had gotten more perspectives on how people approach Rivals’ neutral.

I'm not good at Rivals in the slightest but if you literally just watch high level play and have the slightest bit of fighting game knowledge and you'll see it's aggressive. I actually do like his KZbin channel but this is his worst video that I've watched by far; glad that you put a light on it, good video!

Yeah, I actually did enjoy some of his other videos (especially the one comparing granblue I think and rivals with how they treat character gimmicks), unfortunate that he also decided to make this video which is basically just slandering the game

Didnt really like this software neo guy after he said drift di was replaced as defensive option by shield. Also he constantly says stuff about “game being unfun” yet in all rivals clips I see, the competitors are grinning from ear to ear and in smash half the clips are players breaking their controllers.
