Normalization formula justifies the percentile score only when there is random allotment of students in every shift.... But here it is totally unfair because here the competition on 2 & 3 May is between pure PCM guys... My brothers example... Marks 171, 3rd May, percentile 99.697 His friends, 1) marks 165, 10 may, percentile 99.98 2) marks 170, 13 may, 99.99 3) 160, 13 may, 99.96 4) 143, 13 may, 99.67 5) 137, 12 may, 99.45 Please everyone... Make RTI or something on CET CELL to publish first 3000 or 5000 ranks with their date & shift and marks & respective percentile, involve media, go to highcourt if possible,... Because it is the matter of future of ours....

Sir I literally respect your logic and observation.Sir I got 99.9898612 Perc in MHT CET 2019 scoring 169 in 12th May 2nd shift.Though I am preparing for IIT(dropper) ,I have given PCMB group(I have Biology in HSC).I support your views.Most surprising thing is that I scored 99.18...... Perc in PCB Also.But I truly say I haven't any intention behind this fact that getting good perc by giving PCMB instead of PCM.I hope you will reply me soon.

Sir, normalization process n percentile calculations for JEE Mains n MHT-CET are not same. If the percentile are calculated batchwise or sessionwise , it would have given that no.of students with100 percentile scores i.e. minimum 1 student (Topper) from each batch with 100 percentile. As per result there is only 1 student with 100 percentile. Normalization process followed by MHT- CET is explained in information brochure which tells how is it different from NTA normalization.

Same here for me... My percentile is 97.55 My score is 145(2nd may 2nd shift). My friend scoring 145 in one of the pcmb shift is getting 99.67 percentile. Another friend scoring 142 and her percentile is 99.37. This is totally unfair with pcm students.Despite there was pure pcm competition and the pcm cet exam was harder tham pcmb cet and the number of students appearing for pcm shift were more than pcmb we scored well and still our percentile is not worth it. Somebody should raise voice otherwise our future ruins......

CET cell has already mentioned that there will be no changes in result and have told that "students have not understood the percentile system."I think it will not affect Engineering students as most of the students in PCMB batch are Pharmacy oriented students.

I complained regarding this topic but they reply me this Respected Sir/ Madam, The decision of declaring the result following percentile mode has not come from blue moon. it was predeclared and formula was preshared with the parents and the candidates/. The candidates and the parents have applied and appeared for the CET by reading and understanding the same. The information about the shifts and paper sets used was also shared with the candidates. But majority of PCMB students are Pharmacy oriented students. Majority of them will go for Pharmacy. If they were Engineering students then why they will select PCMB.The point is that PCM students like us will not be affected by PCMB students percentile,as most of them will go for Pharmacy and will have the seperate Provisional merit list there! 🙂

What in case they decide to choose engineering? Many people do that. Since 2016 batch almost 45% people choose engineering from pcmb. This is clear injustice to all you PCM students.

@@ashishkempwad3267 Yes, I agree. But ab kuch changes nahi aanewala hai according to CET cell. Sab KZbinrs Subscribers badhane k liye videos banate hai.JEE Mains me bhi problem aaya tab sab so rahe the ghar pe. Admission process bhi bass chalu ho gaya.Now nothing left to talk!
