Rick, good info, i hope you convey to GM management they lose a lot of customers who just move on over insane restrictions, absurd dealers(not you of course), and lack of being able to get what you want in general, especially now that dealers are swimming in harder to sell Corvettes these days.

Rick, glad you are recovering. I have a question. I purchased a C8 ERay 3LZ. I understand that the car is shipped with the short Wicker Bills, and the tall ones are in the car and to be installed at the dealership. So the short ones should be placed back in the car. Am I correct. Two of my friends were given their short wicker’s but they bought from a different dealer. Thanks for your enthusiasm!

All the standard carbon fiber and such could actually help. It’s a lot easier to forecast a part thats on every car, verse forecasting customer take rates. We shall see.

Hope they address the LT2 falling on its face after 100mph. I’ve never considered a C8 because the Stingray is so bland, the ERay doesn’t doesn’t appeal to me, the Z06 cost of ownership is too high, and the ZR1 is out of my reach for a weekend toy car. However, I really like the wide body C8 and if they address the beforementioned LT2 issue, the DCT transmission issues, and give it round exhaust pipes, then I could see myself getting one.

Rick, regarding the ZR1 being a limited production, I specifically asked Josh Holder at Carlisle while he was introducing the ZR1 and taking questions if the ZR1 would be a limited production. He said absolutely not. They will be making this car for years so everyone who wants one can get one.
