I have watched so many vids of people travelling or living in China now and there is no question that it is unbelievably safe to live in China compared to living here in the UK...it makes me sad, and I don't know if the problem is just with ourselves as a people or with our system and our government. They have every reason to be proud of their country and society.

I lived in London from 2000-2004 and simply could not believe you guys have not implemented IC system which were introduced to Malaysia and Singapore during communist insurgency area in the 50s. In China, IC is regularly used for purchased of train tickets (prevent scalping), attraction prebooking (anyone with drug / alcohol or other offences are blocked from entering certain attractions. Our country Malaysia also has many e functions in our IC but not fully integrated. How many times we have people with various offences still roaming our streets and committing petty crimes until one day someone else got hurt by these people?

the main reason definitely is not people. China also have some chaos era maybe twenty years ago. i think the main reason is government and average people's financial situation.

The main reasons that I can think of are: 1. The government provides results for the working class. If people have their main needs covered, there would be less incentive to commit crimes for survival. Their recent economic growth hasn't stopped yet, and people still feel positive day by day about the evolution of their country. 2. Harss agaisnt crimes and huge anti-corruption campaigns. There were many mafia groups decades ago, but It's hard for today to even notice If there is any small gang groups existing (mainly scam groups). They also go hard agaisnt the riches that take millions of briberies, up to death penalty. 3. Strict regulation agaisnt drugs, fire arms, and illegal immigration. 4. Early teachings of confucian values at the school, which promotes a healthy relationship between the members of the community and family.

China's night life is not just safe but also very live and fun. I watched your first vlog of China one more time, you are now China expert now. You visited more cities than more than 50% of Chinese all over the world. You need to go to Northeastern China now. I heard it started snowing already. Looking forward to your next vlog, hopefully about northeastern China.

Suzhou is a very beautiful city. I agree with you that it might be a great place to settle down one day if one decided to come to China. Hangzhou might be my second favourite. Dinner was delicious especially the fish. I think the fish is deep fry coated with flour and then the sauce pored over it. Yes you right, they use vinegar and ketchup to make the sauce. The drink Taz was drinking is the herbal tea. Good for taking out the heatiness inside the body. Well guys if you’re still in China keep up enjoying. Stay safe! Cheers!

There are two dozen watertowns like the Shantang street nearby Suzhou, at larger scale. If you ever have time for it, I recommend Wuzhen (~80km from Suzhou) and Zhou Zhuang (~50km). You should stay one or two nights inside those old towns and get up at early morning like 6 AM to walk around, it is -- to use your word -- EPIC what you will see there, I guarantee. Wuzhen is like Venice but a hundred times cleaner and well organized and no tourist trap consumption. It is WORLD CLASS, period.

if you find an online link to your cctv segment, post it on your community page 😉 seafood in general is relatively pricey in china and that fish dish you had goes under a lot of preparation to debone it so it's on the pricier side so what you paid is about average in a good restaurant. I wonder what you guys eat off camera in between expensive meals, instant noodles? 🤣
