As usual, this is chinese Bull. they claim hypersonic - hypersonics have low accuracy. it is primarily employed for ground attack role, not SAM role. it could be very well be supersonic. which means it can easily be intercepted by any standard BVR air-to-air missile. for ex, India's Astra Mk3 has a range of 350km, flies at mach4.5. if the enemy SAM is launched from 2000km away, our AWACS will pick it up when it is in 450km range. then it can be intercepted by Astra & shot down like a standard fighter jet.

Chinese here. India is not in China's radar. It is just a country in the world that China has to "deal with." You have not much that China really wants. You are not in control of anything critical. Yeah sure you have a huge population but that is about it. The only annoying thing is that you have border issue with China on a yearly basis. That is headache and China has to listen to you to clam you down. But other than that, not much. A day without India making a posture on the border is a quiet and nice day for China.
