didnt this use to be the big screen in the 1990,s? im sure this was the thx screen ..i remember seeing armageddon..godzilla.. starship troopers ..and phantom menace in sonys SDDS sound there was also a premier screen that had the sofa seating and thx ...i watched gladiator in EX in there ..and titanic

Is this also called Screen X? Or that’s a different and this is just a larger screen in size with no extensions

​@@sistlashyamu Superscreen is as you describe at the end, but Screen X has the image projected on the side walls to a degree. I saw Top Gun Maverick in Screen X when it was 3 quid just before Xmas. If you Google "Top Gun Maverick Screen X", you'll see the trailer for an example of what it does.

I watched Sing 2 in superscreen and it was not that great tho. The screen was just like the standard 2d one. I was trying my best to see and noticed any differences but I couldn't see any tbh.

Dolby cinema is fantastic as well. Would normally choose it if the film I am watching hasn’t been recorded with imax cameras.

I have been to both. Superscreen is far better. Dolby Atmos sound like no where else in the world. IMAX sound is less detailed louder and more directional because they use less speakers.

The balcony seats were the best cinema experience imo until they got greedy and crammed more seats in. No way near a premium experience when you're crammed in like that. Haven't been back since. Shame.
