Can you use a benzoyl peroxide after this serum or would that be too drying/irritating?

It is probably best to consult you're dermatologist about this since they'll be able to see your skin, but if you're using BP for acne, then that should be ok. You can also alternate nights of product use. If at any point it feels too drying, take a break for a few days until it’s relieved. Also make sure you are moisturizing as well.

I use this product myself and typically use 5 drops. It's more than enough to work around the face easily, so I'd recommend using this first and then a moisturizer!

That shouldn’t be a problem but start slow with the retinol and only use a couple times per week. The active serum should go first and then the retinol.

I read that this product has denatured alcohol-30 and I was just wondering if that isn’t bad? I have heard a lot of dermatologists say that alcohols aren’t good for your skin. It’s 4th on the ingredient list and I’m just wondering if it will overly strip my skin.

Hi there! Commonly used in skin care products all Alcohols are not created equal. Alcohol denat is used in Active Serum for its ability to penetrate the skin and leave a fresh, clean sensation. It's also antibacterial. I hope this helps!

DermWarehouse okay thank you! I kept saying different opinions on alcohol in skincare but I couldn’t find anything bad about the alcohol in the active serum, I was just making sure. @@laurachristen1666 honestly no but I think that I didn’t give it a fair chance due to the fact that I was scared it would make my skin worse and kept on with my regular skincare. I did try it several nights but I didn’t notice a difference and it made my skin red and tingly. I did purchase it online and not from a professional salon so maybe the product could’ve been faulty because I’ve only seen positive reviews.

You wouldn't use retinol at the same time. You should only use one or the other! Not at the same time.
