The truth matters, and you're being used to bring so much light to common believers like me. Keep proclaiming!

A little off topic even though the Septuagint is part of Sinaiticus. I don't know if anyone else knew this or not. But I found a bit of proof from the Septuagint itself that it is post first century. If you have ever read Matthew 4:6, Satan appears to quote Psalms 91:11-12 But what he does is remove the phrase "to keep thee in all thy ways" from v11 and then adds the phrase "at any time" to v12. Now if you ever read the Septuagint in English or Greek (Psamls 91 is chapter 90) you will see Satan's addition "at any time" added to the chapter. Since there is no Hebrew text anywhere that contains "at any time" as part of v12, that can only mean that the writer had to have taken it from Satan's quote in the New Testament.

Hi, Joseph! I got out Origen's Hexapla. Very interesting! Aquila wrote: επι ταρσων αρουσι, μηποτε προσκοψη εν λιτης ο πους σου. So the μηποτη (at any time) was utilized by the hyper-literal 125 AD writer. Symmachus wrote: Επι χειρων βαστασουσι σε, ινα μη προσπαιση εν λιθω ποδι σου. This is completely different from Matthew 4:6, in this 175-200 AD writer. But this is Origen’s text: Επι χειρων αρουσι σε, μηποτε προσκοψης προς λιθον τον ποδα σου This is identical to the Received Text (and the King James) at Matthew 4:6 Origen had the New Testament in front of him in 225-245 AD, and changed the Old Testament text in many places to match it in his Hexapla. God bless you! - David

God prevented it from happening, and I didn’t know why. He led me to Dr Ruckman, and now I see why he prevented me from entering that institution (NOBTS). God had better plans for me😇

Joshua, don't forget only 1 of the 10 healed lepers... David, agreed. Also, depending on long a generation is defined, is the amount of time needed to produce a whole generation of people who haven't heard the gospel. Took me a while to understand that even though sailing ships took the gospel around the world, especially during the British empire, the need to sow seed continues to this day. How many new generations have come about since that point in time of world history? May God continue to bless your work and those associated with your ministry.

@@oldtimerlee8820 Yes, only one in ten turned around to thank Jesus for healing them. I don't believe those in many services are told how to accept Jesus as Lord these days and it is hard to find any sermon on the real messages of what Jesus was saying in the parables. They largely point to false people hiding amongst us. Going through the motions but never believing in their heart and perhaps distracting or interfering with teaching God's Word.

The gap between the source and the earliest copy is over 300 years. This is itself a huge problem and the fact that 14,000 differences between the current bible and the earliest copy are unreconcilable. You don't have the original writings, but you have copies of copies .... of copies, but not any two of them are identical. It's a huge mess, and hence came Islam.

@@konstantinallinforchrist9867 Spare me. Those 'brothers' and 'sisters' were obviously cousins since if you read John ch. 7 they were very much alive on the eve of his Death and yet Jesus on the Cross turns the care of his Mother over to the disciple John which wouldn't have been necessary if he had any living blood brothers. Don't transpose 20th century understandings of words onto 1st century Israel.
@konstantinallinforchrist9867

@@erics7992 I just learned something: in biblical hebrew there is apparently no word for "cousin" in koine greek however there is. It certainly is not "obvious" that Jesus brothers were in fact his cousins. Even the last words on the cross don't specifically imply or suggest such a statement. If i recall correctly the catholic "church" has actually theologically had to add a third Mary who supposedly mothered the "brothers" of Jesus. It's much more likely and natural to believe that the four brothers mentioned were actually just that - brothers of Jesus according to the flesh. Out of humility and humble-mindedness Jude in his introduction to his letter hints at the fact the he is a brother of Jesus. I'm sure the early church (first 300 yrs) held the same view but I'm not inclined to follow that rabbithole as questions of geneologies are fruitless. The fact that there is a word in koine greek for "cousin" (Col 4:10) and it WASN'T USED by the hebrew gospel writers in relation to Jesus brothers to me is clear evidence that Jesus had 4 physical brothers. -- So thank you for enlightening me! A warning: If you are not baptized IN water and in the holy spirit following the Voice and guidance of Jesus (Jn 10:27, Romans 8:14) you will end up in hell not in "purgatory". True Christians are commanded to stop all willfull sinning- who sins willfully is in the Way to damnation also (Hebrews 10:26). He who has ears to hear let him hear!
@erics7992
@erics7992 2 жыл бұрын
@@konstantinallinforchrist9867 First of all to say that the last words on the Cross are not conclusive is just you not wanting to see the truth. If you have a blood brother you don't turn the care of your mother over to an unrelated male. You don't even do that today much less in 1st century Israel which was governed by iron laws of kinship. As to the rest the Gospels are written in Greek but are full of Hebraisms and the Greek words always reflect a Semitic meaning since they are talking about a Semitic people in a Semitic environment.
