weird player because I don't think he really has a stand out offensive skill at the collegiate level but at the same time a 17 year old without stand out skills averaging those stats and willing his team to wins in the lead role is kinda crazy

Great critique! Thankyou for sharing.......Coop is a prodigy. He was playing against college kids at the age of 12. He received his first scholarship offer while in the 8th grade! He learns quickly and he never makes the same mistake twice! His own coach said, "I don't know of any 17 year old who could play at this level, let alone score over 20 points!" He will develop quickly and be a number one pick. I am sure!

Another fantastic video, sheesh. I'll make my case: there's only a few things that Cooper Flagg does better than Hunter Tyson. He's more physical and a better defender, but Tyson is more advanced offensively with a better handle, and is likely to be a better shooter. Cooper is much more valuable as a true four who can defend 1-4, but I'm just taking Dylan Harper 10 times out of ten.

It’s funny because he’s not Lebron at all but at that age Lebron could not shoot and would airball once a game. I think the form is good and he will eventually have a decent shot but I want to see him be more a driver than shooter. I would like to see him model his game like a smaller Giannis not like a wing.

I think he will become a player like Jalen Johnson or Bigger Dyson Daniels , Maybe not have enough dribble skills , but he can defense , can passing & can C&S , a very good second core player If he can improve his offense skills in future , he really can be a player like Jayson Tatum , a All Way player , maybe need lots of years , but l believe he can do it.

yeah it probably gonna depend on where he goes and how well they can help in his development as well as just how much he wants it, bc he has all the tools. those type of players are coveted in todays nba and he has a chance to be a superstar roleplayer in that sense

@@georockmann7113 when the pelicans had the #1. Even if they liked morant more they couldn't not take Zion because he was already one of the ten most popular NBA players before he even got drafted. The bears had to take Caleb Williams even if they liked Daniels more. It happens quite often. If you take the consensus #1 and he busts you might save your job as a GM. If you pass on the consensus #1 and the guy you draft is a bust then you getting fired fo sho. That's why if it's at all close then Flagg will get drafted before these other dudes. Guaranteed positive revenue is more important to some GM/owners than actually trying to build a contender.
@georockmann71134 күн бұрын
@Identify_As_Right There's literally 0 indication that the pelicans or any other team would've preferred to draft morant over zion. And zion wasnt a lock for number 1 because of his popularity. It was because he was actually one of the best prospects ever. You say it happens quite often and then proceed to make up a fake example. Also flagg is no lock for the number 1 spot. No team would be crazy for taking harper over him
@Identify_As_Right4 күн бұрын
@georockmann7113 Greg Oden over Durant. Two great prospects, but one is way more popular. Jabari parker. Luka not going #1 because he had zero popularity. Consensus #1 generally means you are thought of to be the best, but that general thought might be artificial due to the mass popularity sparking group think on a guy. Zion had a ton of red flags that were overlooked due to ungodly popularity and marketing propaganda. The dude has a terrible work ethic and isn't good at really anything. Just absurdly strong and athletic. It's in the same vein of thought as drafting need over best player available. It's not the end all be all, but it is serious bonus points to already have your own brand value before getting drafted. NBA teams are a business first and the brand will always outweigh the integrity

Don’t think he’s a number one option.. think like Gil said.. his game is more suited for like third option… MAYBE 2 option.. even tho they have different body types, for ME.. hes like a longer version Jrue Holiday, he’s going to be one of those missing pieces you need for a championship run.. when you need buckets, he’ll get you points, when you need somebody to guard somebody, he’s the guy, don’t think he’s a Number one option, I could even say AJ Dybantza is more polished than Cooper right now. Think ACE Bailey, down the road could become better than Flag. Could be wrong tho.
