You can resize better if you pinch with two fingers rather than using the stylus . I have a desktop and iPad and I use the iPad more.

I only have an iPad in which to run DS. Send to work fine. Using fingers to move things around is easier than using the ipencil.

I’m in the same boat, I have spent so much time teaching myself by trial and error.

I have a Mac and an iPad and I use the iPad way more. But it depends on the project also if it’s something large I use the Mac, but one thing I find easier on the iPad is convenience, bc connecting my explore 3 to a laptop/desktop is always a pain on the butt

I use an ipad to create and a Microsoft Surface to cut. Is there a way to save designs to something other than the Cloud or ipad?

I think you can adjust the sensitivity of the pencil so things move more freely. I’m sorry I don’t recall where it is…

I use an android tablet, I'm guessing the curve feature is a cricut access tool. That's the one thing I didn't see in DS on the android. Am I right?

Can you access patterns on the iPad?

I 💯 agree with you!! It looks to be so much easier on a desktop. I’ve never tried DS on a iPad & don’t think I ever will. I was getting frustrated just watching you trying to do things😂😂 So my answer is a big NO!🤣 Thanks Lauren for making this video & sharing everything with us😊

I completely agree the desktop computer is easier, although in my personal situation I mostly use my iPad simply because the computer is downstairs and my Cricut is upstairs. All the issues you had with it being slow to keep up with you and the difficulties moving and resizing are all common issues I deal with on a regular basis. Also, the iPad is limited in functionality where I cannot edit files to engrave or foil transfer with it. To do that, I have to borrow a family member’s laptop and plug it directly into the Cricut. It’s rather tedious but for the most part doable. When I’m creating a detailed project, I will create it on the desktop, save it, and pull it up on the iPad to send to the Cricut.

I have a brand new iPad. The best and largest one, but I have not tried it on my iPad cause I hear it has limitations and DS has enough issues as it is!! Now, when yall say desktop, do you mean desktop Or does this include laptop. I am in the market for a new laptop but have also been thinking about a desktop too for my craft room. I need to run multiple Cricut’s at once. 🤦🏼♀️ I just want a quick and efficient way to complete projects. 😭

I prefer the desktop. I've tried several times to use iPad several times and get frustrated. Several of the a tions you tried i've experienced and just close the tablet down.

How can you fairly decide which method is easier if it's your first time using the ipad? Of COURSE the method you always use will be easier to you.

I have found it easier to design on my desktop/laptop. However, as I always save to the cloud, I have found it easier to do the actual cutting via my iPad.

I'll agree with it's not too user friendly. I'm new to all of this and my computer is so old DS won't work on it. I just got a joyxtra and I'm trying to learn it ALL. Some things are just confusing and frustrating for this old brain of mine.

Learn from my mistake. While using Design Space on your iPad make sure you save “ALL” your files to the Cloud. If you delete Cricut from your iPad and re-add Cricut to your iPad all your iPad files will be gone. I lost hundreds and hundreds of hours of work. And of course Cricut did nothing to help my situation.

I wondered if my iPad designs will still be there when I go to my laptop.i can’t see well enough for fiddle stuff..😂

If you have saved your designs to the cloud they are on both the laptop and iPad.

Save all your files to the cloud. If something happens to the Cricut App on your iPad and you reload it all your ‘Save to iPad’ files will be gone… and there’s no way to retrieve them. Learn from my horrible experience.

The desktop 💯 percent better. I use the iPad because I have no other choice at the moment and it gets frustrating with everything you said especially the lagging of the file when you want to move it or sizing it.
