If PCA hits 270 he's gonna be a 5+ WAR player. He has pop so there's going to be HR and triples mixed in there. Then the doubles that are singles for most players. Then the SB from being on base that much vs 240 BA. Still playing elite defense. Him hitting 270 is a huge impact! Historically, spending on bullpen arms doesn't equate to a good bullpen. Cubs have experienced this recently too (Fulmer, Boxberger, Neris). When Cubs have good performing bullpens, they're reclamation projects and dumpster dives. Bullpen arms are volatile. The best bullpens are built and not bought. I'm only interested in Tanner Scott if it's a 2 yr deal with a team option after the first yr. He hasn't been a closer in the environment and pressure that is the Chicago Cubs. That worries me a lot about him.
