Is Della J's the best soul food spot in Virginia?

In this episode, my wife and I visited Della J's in Alexandria, VA. This is a well-known family-run soul food restaurant. We got to meet Jerry, the son of Della J, and I must say he was fantastic and super friendly. They have several other family members working there to make it a family-owned business.

I love the matching shirts. Soul food can't be beat in spite of negative reputation. I will endeavor to eat healthy but I will not lie I'm weak for chitterlings, fried chicken beans with hammocks, etc. Be still my heart! I grew up on soul food. If soul food going to kill me, the only thing I can say what a way to go. The restaurant appears quite amiable. Taste ful music.
