I disagree with your rating. I just saw Den of Thieves 2: Pantera. I loved it all the way through. All the actors and actresses were great. Loved that bar scene! The car chase was exhilarating. But the end had me smiling all the way home. I give it a 10!!!!❤❤❤

O'Shay was so huge I found his presence distracting. NASCAR pit crew and the crew of Survivor are expected to be fit. If you're in front of the camera you can certainly work a little harder. Your physical capability should be in line with the plot intricacy and the expectations of derring do The acting in the bathroom by GB was absurd. He's going to need that divorce paperwork. The idea of dropping them off the boat was ridiculous. It could have been written 5 different ways to be so much better, for no extra cost. The exposition was clunky and the girl power coordinator was unrealistic and tepid. By the time I schlepp myself to the theater (in this case for a Dolby showing) I don't mind the longer run time, but maybe the movie could end, and you could put the next 2 endings as mid-credit or post-credit scenes. If they're going to make a trilogy they should have filmed parts 2 and 3 at the same time, the guys has had many years to develop everything, and obtain help and critique.

The first one was better but I thought this one was alright. First one was more intense and better characters I liked the first robbery crew and I knew it wouldn't be the same with them all dead.

Just read your article on Lionsgate and opening results for Den Of Thieves 2:Pantera. I predicted this movie to be a blockbuster on another movie trailer site. How did I know? I am a true Gerard Butler fan, for many years. The script is so clever and makes you ask for more. Den of Thieves 3? I hope so!

Seen the ending coming a mile away.... An ex lover and a cop as part of the crew.... I think we all knew how this would end. O'Shea Jackson character was not nearly as smart as he was the first movie. Gps, trusting the cop, working for the mob now... Had it's entertaining parts but I was let down

Just got home from watching this. I watched the first one right before and I definitely enjoyed the second installment WAY more. It got off to a hot start then started to become a slog toward the end of the 1st act, but picked up the pace again and held steady in acts 2 & 3. As you said, this movie also had much more on-screen chemistry, which kept things interesting. Not sure how I feel about the overall message of the film, as it flip flops quite a bit and the ending felt a bit too forced because they obviously want a 3rd installment. That said, oh well, it’s still a fun time and competently made for the most part, and didn’t overstay it’s welcome quite as much as the first one did. The Porsche car chase scene was awesome. First one was a solid 5.5/10 for me and this one was a 7.0 or maybe even a 7.5/10. I’d recommend it.

The movie was a huge disappointment. Treated the main character like a stupid field negro. Yes master. Me don't know how to swim master. I'd be lost without you master. He's a known thief. The best of the best. His team just lets on a known cop who had beef with him! Ok! Suddenly the main chick who character is pointless just can't resist the white ex cop? Ok, suddenly the stripper that was married to Merriman knows O'Shea Jackson's characters plan for the money? How they shared zero sence together in the first move. O yeah and O'Shea Jackson screwed Merriman in his crew to believe that he was in charge so how would a stripper who was married to Merriman who just got out of prison know about anything of anything and she's the one who willingly slept with a cop because her husband asked to now she's using it as black mail! Right. Suddenly they find a tracker on a high-level diamond and no one is freaking out. They don't tell the crew that they found a Tracker? I mean come on horrific writing. I new the moment they talked on the fast and serious franchise in one of their promotion interviews. It was going to be a horrible movie. No action. Horrific filming you can even pinpoint who was shooting at who the camera work was watching Michael Bay not know how to use a camera I mean the lighting in the background you couldn't even tell who was loading what done who was in wet car it was all just a bunch of cuts and and horrible shooting and stupid looking vehicles. The hiest was to long I fell asleep and still it wasn't over. O'Shea Jackson's character was smart enough to screw over the top dogs in America. He screwed over big neck. He's over here like a boss robbing people because he has military training and he's a whiz behind the car. But in this movie he can't drive worship he can't even pull a gun out on Big Nick without big Nick beating them up and taking the gun and laughing at him and morally demising his ability to be the person you guys have told us he was in the ending of the first movie. Why so you could stroke old Gerard Butler's ego? Then the ending was so stupid and predictable all the cops come in and suddenly the guy who betrayed him didn't look so stupid in the first place the guy who supposedly dated the girl and was upset with Nick you brought a cop to the Organization and you're supposed to be a top level woman who brings all thieves together in a minute a dirty cop shows up you're just like yeah let's add him to the team

That's not that hard Nick was a cop who busted him and although he's not a cop any longer Nick can easily snitch on Donna and mess up his whole operation so either Donna kill Nick or cut him in it's just that simply. Crook it or not the Police would love to get that money back and put Donna in jail, because a few cops were killed by the crew Donna was with though Donna hasn't killed anyone. What's hard to believe about that?

This sequel was highly disappointing, to say the least. The first movie, which included 50 Cent and other interesting cast members, had more exciting scenes with no dull moments. This particular movie had virtually no action scenes-- with the exception of a long car chase/shootout--and the storyline took an extremely long time to develop. Simply put, save your money.
