have you been to indonesia? This is a heavy, shallow wave, and "the grower" is the sketchiest part. They are professionals who are used to surfing death-defying pipeline, that's why it looks so managable.

Koa is a naturally mellow guy, both @ home & abroad...if anyone ever wondered how to avoid conflict with an absolute snake 🐍 who's literally trying to pull you off your board as you pass him by, Koa shows us how>>just press on the gas ever so slightly, line up the next barreling section, & pull in as your aggressor gets thoroughly stuffed behind you, & then enjoy the rest of your ride...or, if you're Italo, just pull a big air & land on the guy's head...&, he was definitely not a Desert Point "local"...Koa's been surfing there for over a decade, & I guarantee he is far more welcome in that lineup by the local Indonesian population than that kook will ever be
