lol level 15 isn’t much of a gauge as to how good a character is but I get it. I tried a rogue last season and it didn’t click with me like I hoped and made it even easier to drop out early. I loved Sorc when I played one

All I need to know is does it feel better when you’re back in town and going through the motions? The post gameplay routine in towns always felt inconvenient and like a chore. A lot of what I’ve seen seems designed to resolve many of my previous issues by streamlining stash space, looking through items, and aspects

Diablo 4 will never be good until they get rid of the Level Scaling. There is no sense of character progress. You don't feel like you get significantly stronger or feel like you're improving save getting a new ability that just changes the actions or visuals. Level scaling of content is one of the biggest banes of RPGs and should not ever be used lightly and without a lot of thought. Still love the vids DM

Matter of opinion. Grim Dawn does this and it's highly regarded. I think it makes all content relevant rather than never farming anything besides the Pit/Andy in A1 in D2 because the monsters are weak and don't drop everything.

​@@pokermitten9795 A small correction : Grim Dawn does limited level scaling - each Act is assigned a minimum and a maximum level and it scales within that range. It also keeps the concept of difficulty modes (Normal, Nightmare, Hell etc) by automatically moving you to a difficulty when reaching a certain level. It's a good middle ground solution. Everything becomes max level only when your character does.

Wrong. You can get so powerful you can breeze through enemies 20+ levels above you pretty easily, the only reason the level scales with you is to make sure you get exp at a good rate

Is it just me that think people who sh*t on some games mainly comes from a place of exhausting it. I get bigger better stuff has come out since but didn’t everyone lose months of their life when this released? I remember even non gamers picking this up. People played it to death and then after say “it’s a dead game” benefit of the doubt it’s a live service game so (correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t Diablo like the granddaddy of service games?)… silver lining and all. 😅

100%. I used to game a lot and when I decided I wanted to game an only a little so I have more fun spending time with music/uni/dating, I quickly realised there are so many good games that people trash because they play the game in an unhealthy way that makes it not fun. No game is fun if you play it for the sake of playing it, spend 300 hours playing when you already discovered everything the game had 60 hours in. Like Ofcourse a games going to run its course if you rack up hundreds of hours of playtime within a few weeks. At that point you’re not playing the game, the games playing you Games are 10000x more fun as an adult when you don’t neglect other parts of your life just to game

One example I can think of is Elder scrolls online, it has a lot of bad reviews but that’s mainly from people going into it expecting it to be Skyrim but online when it was never to be that. It’s an mmo first and foremost, that make sense at all or is shit being chatted 😅😂

Currently the class balance is probably the worst it's ever been. If there isn't a Necro or maybe a Barb or else a whole bunch of other people with you fighting a Blood Maiden then lots of luck. Me and another 75lvl Rogue beat on her for ten minutes and by "beat on" I mean ran around a lot trying not to die, 'cuz aiming, only to succumb ingloriously at the end. Before that a Necro stood there and killed her in like 30 seconds while staying far away from danger. I wish my class could "come online" a little more before I have to level 3-5 glyphs and min/max/ temper basically everything.

This is the problem for me. There is very little you can do about of builds. The skill system sucks, paragon is a system designed to slow down, in the release version was just power creep 2.0, every system in the game was designed to inflate game hours artificially. As much blizzard try to fix it, the base fundation is fundamentally wrong. Im happy for the people who enjoy it, but for me is not fun at all. Also, the fact that I stopped playing the game but I keep watching DM channel tells a lot about him and why I keep following his videos and streams.

Diablo 3 was way better at torment 26 with heavily modded gear item duping only thing that sucked was no backup save file incase of corrupted a save. Not a fan of online only and nerfs to players and buffs to enemies which is shit coupled with outragiously priced dlc still a no. Diablo 4 you and paint a turd gold and polish it but in the end its still a turd.
