@@Ackeemsterlingreviews yep that’s due to iPhone doing its thing to compensate for shadows and highlights the pocket doesnt do so well in auto mode.

The iPhone video is overly sharpened, and the denoising is so aggressive that it washes out skin details. It looks very smartphone-like. With the Pocket 3, you can set the sharpness and denoising to -2 and get a very natural look. I bought the P3 because I hated the over-processing of iPhone videos. You can avoid this sharpening by recording in LOG, but in the camera app you have to use ProRes, which is impractical because of the amount of space the recordings take up. You can work around this by recording with apps like Blackamgic Cam, but this is not suitable for spontaneous recordings.

Yea that’s true I guess it’s a preference but its not really the sharpness for me is for of a tone really don’t know how to explain it 😅
