Hello! Can you please confirm that it can shoot RAW photos in Lossless compressed or not? Because only Lossless and Uncompressed RAWs are 14bit while Lossy Compressed RAW is just 12bits. A6700 and ZV-E10ii does have the Lossless compressed RAW option in settings, don't know about FX30. Thanks.

I have the Fuji XH2s and the XT5 but when I was buying the XH2s I was trying to decide between it and the A7IV but I ended up going with Fuji for the colors. But after two years with the Fuji I still love it but I’m considering getting the FX3 cuz the autofocus on the Fuji just isn’t reliable enough

The iPhone video is overly sharpened, and the denoising is so aggressive that it washes out skin details. It looks very smartphone-like. With the Pocket 3, you can set the sharpness and denoising to -2 and get a very natural look. I bought the P3 because I hated the over-processing of iPhone videos. You can avoid this sharpening by recording in LOG, but in the camera app you have to use ProRes, which is impractical because of the amount of space the recordings take up. You can work around this by recording with apps like Blackamgic Cam, but this is not suitable for spontaneous recordings.

@ yup… won’t turn on. Red lights are blinking but not screen. Tried 5 different batteries. Trying to update firmware through memory card. Dead. No life except the blinking red light. 😢

@ I think I found the culprit that cause the issue in the first place, it was a Sony battery well allegedly lol but a friend of mine used the same battery and it black out his camera every time he tried to turn it on and the same thing happened when I tried it with my FX30 I got rid of it so fast.

I really love my A74. Great for photo video for weddings.Shoots video clean to iso 3200 which is enough low light for me. I haven't had overheating, cross you fingers. I love Tamron lenses because they all have 67mm filters.

The Sony is better for photos but the Lumix is better for video. They both are equally as good in my view. I would personally choose the Lumix though.

Had an A7IV when it first released... if the S5IIX would have been available at the same time I would have chosen it over the A7IV. The overheating was a dealbreaker for me, but it also had limited HDMI port functionality. LUMIX's stabilization is second to none! The FX30 is built with a more robust "cine-type" body that has active cooling... of course it can do 4K/120 without overheating. The APS-C sensor is a positive and a negative for the system in some respects, but if you do mostly video it's hard to beat.

I have had this happen on shoots when it won't turn back on. It just has a flashing red light. I have then taken battery out and then it has worked but not always immediately. I have also tried taking battery out and then changing mode ( photo to video or s l). That has occasionally done it. I haven't had it for long periods of time but it is a concern as I expect a camera to come on immediately when you turn it on. This is particularly problematic at events. I did see some videos when a youtuber had similar issues and sent it back to Sony( I think they replaced the motherboard). There are not many videos about it. I think it is more widespread than we know. I have never had this with any other camera. Pre-Sony I was always a Canon shooter and they always worked. I hope you can sort it out without massive costs or a new camera. I presume the Alpha MK 5 will be out anytime soon.

Mine get over heated in a wedding it tuurn off and I have to wait a minute and I can record 15min more , but I have to say in horrible conditions in Spain it the middle of the sun , I don't move the screen And I hold the camera with my hands(no gimbal) but since more 2 years I have it was the only time.

Did you try using it while it was plugged in? Then do a factory reset. It could be a battery issue.

@Kemstylebossy Try one of these bredda: 1) Remove the battery and power the camera with a cable 2) Charge the battery overnight with a charge, not while it is in the camera 3) Be sure to use original Spny batteries 4l check if the battery terminals and camera battery compartment are clean. Let us know if either of these works. We should do a collaboration!

I've forgotten my FX30 on and recording in my bag for about an hour... if not for the vents, I might have fried mine. I do think you'll be able to find a fix tho... try a new battery!.... basically reddit is saying to format your SD card and go back a firmware.....downgrade and see whats up
