We haven’t seen two bigs that can’t score outside the paint win together in the last decade, and haven’t seen two 6’1 guards win in probably even longer than that. Let alone both occurrences on the same team.

Mitchell’s gravity has Evan Mobley shooting 41% from 3. That alone should put him in the top 5 in the MVP race. He’s also #4 in the NBA in net rating. He’s clearly among the top 5 MVP candidates. If the season ended today I’d probably give it to Luka, but that team just isn’t excelling like Cleveland and Boston are so I’d say Mitchell and Tatum are right there
@GMOlester8 ай бұрын
I never got why they had 2 ball dominant guards and 2 big men who did the same thing in the starting lineup. Now that garland and mobley are injured they finally see what spida can do with allen, both are great players and were held back by having 2 guys that negatively affect their game in the starting lineup. Hopefully they trade garland and try to turn mobley to a 6th man role or other way around. They would win 6th man of the year every year and be a positive to the team.
