I don't know if the goat... but he surely is the most complete rugby-man of all time... yet also... just picture this... teens and children are watching this very entertaining style of play... and kids will grow trying to do it like him... just picture it... we may be looking at a generation that 10 years from now will have so enjoyed this type of play they will try and reproduce it... all around the oval world and for us rugby fan, this would be a feast for our eyes...

The GOAT debate is childish, especially in rugby. But Dupont is already the most striking player of our time. He's the most complete and impactful player I've seen since I started watching rugby.

Since the bigining of humanity and sport it's childhish so.... Don't be frustrated. Just enjoy beautifull game and have respect for those who accomplish it. Those who raise it whith respect and fun to play. Just found one other player in history who accomplish what Dupont did as a 9. With all his qualities. It's older exemple generation who make us grow. And when the new generation have someone who raise a sport at an another level just admit it.

Summarize pretty much the general feeling toward him I think and it's already some hell of an achievement, whether you are french, british, irish, kiwi, bokke or otherwise that's quite a statement. The guy generate a lot of goodwill, regardless the nationality, the club allegiance which is pretty rare these days and pretty refreshing I have to say.

Fair play Cyril, I’m an English fan and can easily say I’ve never ever seen a player like Antoine DuPont. He’s the best scrum half and possibly the best player I’ve ever seen. If England don’t win 2027 (we likely won’t 😂) then I hope France do it because a player is of his calibre deserves the accolades to go with it.

Dupont has a rare vision of the game, and in the same time he's got the physical abilities to make his aims come true. Very very unique. He's not selfish, he makes his team play, and is humble in everyday life, believing in work and collective spirit. He comes from a farmer family, and keeps this " shut up and work hard " way of life. The best of all times? i don't know... the actual best player? for sure.... As a french rugby coach , i got the privilege to work in Toulon during the famous " galactic era " when RCT won 3 european cups, and got the top of the top players. Somebody like J.Wilkinson is for me as symbolic as Dupont, as far as skills, mentality and leadership are concerned. And about English players and Dupont, i still got his signed photo he dedicated to me in Twikenham after the famous 53 - 10.... greetings from France, nice video btw, keep the good spirit :)

The goat debates come from the internet and the apparition of social media that let people debate and share their opinion. As a frenchman when i start watching rugby in the 2010' i was in admiration of Dan Carter, Habana, Dusautoir, Wilkinson and many more great players... And at this time internet was less developped and i do not remember that their was a goat debate, and i think we did not really f**king care. And when i watch the greatness of Dupont nowadays and the people that debate of him being the goat or not, i dont really f**king care like in the past😂. And i think everyone should do that to, lets just enjoy great athletes play rugby !

Since I was born I have not known a player so complete and exceptional. His positioning, vision , passing, running abilities , avoiding tackles , his step and timing and to top it off he can put in some hard defensive hits. His size and strength is deceiving. Lomu just ran through people and one trick only. Dupont all day for me
