Yes it is true ‼️ It is ore to wet, or much to hot... And it can go from 18 Celsius to 30+ in 1 week time‼️

Rain is rain, but the big thing is the colder temperatures and the wind that makes the rain even worse. When I ride my bicycle through the rain, my forehead just hurts by the cold raindrops. Also this is off course not every day and the draining system is good, but the Netherlands is also a river delta, so the rivers might overflow causing big problems.

The dutch can complain about the weather a lot. I think its the same in Belgium and maybe even the UK. I dont understand it to be quite frankly. If my mood depends on the weather I would never be happy. I choose to be happy and take the weather as it goes.

Regarding your question if I ever experienced floods? No, I lived 5 meters below sea level for 28 years before moving a bit more higher-up, now living in Amsterdam. But no, never any floods whatsoever. Never even thought about them tbh? Again, we're called the safest delta in the world for a reason.
