Shit doesn’t start moving until 4500, not because of your front mount, but because that is where your stock internals have enough rotational mass to handle the torque. Your tuner did a good job.

Shinigami. Wrx what about adding a jpipe, with mods you just mentioned here. I’m thinking about adding some mods on my 18 wrx and debating on flex fuel. Without e, max torque protuned stock, 260?
@5layereddip1425 жыл бұрын
Alex Peguero well the mods listed above are more tailored to running E85. Yeah adding a j pipe will give you more power, but IBRC tgv delete would be a better power adder for the money. They really open up the restriction on the manifold/top end power. Now if you ran a j pipe and tgv deletes with a protune. You’ll see some nice gains even without E85, but for the money E85 is a deal.

Hey what's up Ryan, i'm writing you here because i don't know any other way... i now have a 2018 crosstrek and switching to a 2019 wrx next march. I installed the perrin shift stop, shifter bushing and perrin short throw shifter (the one under the car with the roll pin removal). The perrin short throw shifter has no weight to it at all so it made the shifts really clunky (yes it fits on the crosstrek), i had to force it in every time. I'm just wondering: howcome you had the same experience using the heavy boomba shifter plate? According to what i read, the round dust/heat shield with 4x 12mm bolts and the little plate with 2x 12mm interfere with the boomba shifter plate and maybe it's because of that that you gave it a 5 out of 10? Lots of people either removed those parts or ground them down or used spacers so it wouldn't touch the plate, and in every video, everybody is so happy after the install, but i kind of trust you more, so i was wondering if you still feel the same way about the boomba plate or if you fixed the problem? Thanks!

Couple of questions! 1. Are you dailying this stage 3 WRX? 2. Any idea the high end powerband is because of the FMIC or Flex-fuel? 3. Did your tuner mention anything about the Boomba BPV? I heard both good and bad things about it. Obviously it sounds cool; even tho it is fully recirculated, it's hard to imagine the flutter has zero harm to the turbo...4. Any other mod plan soon? lol Car is awesome dude, keep it up!
@RyansRandomActs5 жыл бұрын
I do daily the car and my tuner didnt say anything about the bpv. The high powerband is due to both. My power gains on E start around 4500rpm. Idk the plans next yet.

I'm not sure that a muffler delete is going to bring back the "cold start" your looking for... Your cold start was most likely altered during your tune. Tuners have the ability to change it so the RPMs are similar to warm idle at start up.

Please stop saying you have turbo lag on a stock turbo wrx....that is rediculous. One day if you get a turbo bigger than that tiny little stock snail you will understand where real lag comes into play.
