Retiring at 30 is just a myth for most of the Malaysian not everyone can afford it ,first off all our basic salary for fresh graduate never increased even after 10 years. And many choose to withdraw money from EPF acc 1 during pandemic . Best part many don't have EPF "at all". I think this video is more suitable for middle or upper class family and kids who born with silver spoon. Soon Malaysian will try to work in Thailand or Vietnam, look at our neighbouring countries performance and our ringgit depreciation . Some of the tips for saving money are useful, but at "majority side" this would be great joke to certain handful of Malaysian ,who still struggling to make ends meet.
@starstriker188111 ай бұрын
Had to disagree with u at some parts of your idea. Perhaps most msians can't afford that's because its too far-fetched for them. But its still possible to do it without a born with silver spoon or well off families. Its all about timing and discipline. Start side hustling during college times , save up money and start investing as early as 19-20years. Once they graduated, live below means frugally while continue to earn more and save more. Money compounds. Even better follow the example of the video to live in rural town and save up...there are however conditions this might not be achievable e.g. earn average income while getting married early and have children before 30, high parent dependency and health issues. So its all about choice plus little bit of luck to make it through

Jobless after accident on 2020, but i would be looking for a factory job next year to save some for ethereum and other portfolio.5 years to go and dont know of i can achieve my dream but my advice is every Malaysian should start investing and stop too much spending. For lifestyle try to keep it simple dont put all fund on that, i just got old myvi lol🤣🤣

Nowadays living in a city or nearby with income about RM5000 is just enough "cukup-cukup je". Most employer give overload task but paying below RM5000. I really demand and won't take offer below RM5000. I use some of the money to buy stock.

Great video! Completely agree on emphasising on what really matters in retirement and redefining what retirement means. I'm working in an industry I'm passionate for, I'm hoping to continue working even after "retirement" without the worry of money on my mind but just enjoying the work.

😂😂😂 MasyaAllah. The last part really caught me off guard. I have the same understanding of retirement. I never tell anyone about it. Because I think people will redicule me. Thank you very for putting this idea of retirement out.

in your video, are you referring to 2 sides of Fire? The person that work in the brewery.
@mak993443 жыл бұрын
I think in the brewery case, is called barista fire, which is having enough money saved to switch to part time job or job that you like but pays less just for the additional income and health insurance

This is the underlying issue that many people didn't realise what retirement is, some people are naturally already having the relaxed lifestyle of not worrying about money, save up, lower expenses but most them dont even know what they are doing can be like Money Moustache who ends up getting richer. I know i repeat but this shows that do what you do best and be damn good at it.

Thanks for another great video, boss. Anytime is a good time to save money. If you have not started yet, start now. Always remember that one does not need to be filthy rich to enjoy life .For example if, you want to have a paid vacation in Australia, just work as a fruit picker in Australia.

Critical missing part is how to support retirement life of 40+ or 50+ over years with RM600k at withdrawal rate of 4%, not yet factor in inflation rate and tax. Is RM600k really enough? Content of another video, perhaps?
