Hello, Thank you for the informational video. Appreciate it. I would like to add one thing here: The level of education is different in Private & Public schools. Private schools have better education, they are competitive and they are focused on each and every child. Yes, if you have money then you can send your kid to a private school and get a better education. I can say this because my wife is a teacher at a private school in Mississauga, Canada. Regards

Are public schools free for high school children of individuals moving to Canada on a work visas as well? 2. I observed that the fees in universities for undergraduate and masters are far lower for domestic students compared to international students. I assume that "domestic" here includes PR holders. What about children of individuals employed in Canada on a work visa? Will they be considered as "domestic" or "international"?

Preschool is before the year they turn 4. The year they turn 4, they can register for junior kindergarten. 5 is senior kindergarten, and 6 is first grade. Kindergarten is not compulsory, but schooling from grade 1 is. Preschool age is 2.5 to before the year they turn 4. Some are paid and some you can get subsidized fees for. Preschool is not compulsory either. Daycare can be expensive. From about $800 a month upwards.
