There is a reason why the banks call the Twitter acquisition deal an enormous disaster. Also the cost of Twitter is quadruplefold of what a tiny business it really was so cutting out the workforce never made a difference in making it profitable.

@ZechariahB well thats just false. The banks judt sold some of the debt because other investors wanted in on the deal. It's better to have 10 dollars in revenue and a 8 dollar profit. Then 20 dollars in revenue and 4 dollars in profit.

The rest of the debt still exists and no clear answer on how investors can make up and profit from the loss the banks taken with the massive loan. Once recruited for any role, whether it is important or dummy role. Firing federal employees, especially people work in dummy role will ruin their family. See, here’s the funny thing. USAID was created by an executive order via a president many years ago. They were supposed to answer to the Secretary of State but have repeatedly said that because they come from an executive order they answer exclusively to the president and the Secretary of State has no authority over them. Likewise, because they come from an executive order they claim that they don’t need to inform congress of any of their activities. Now we have another president that is doing what many secretary of states and several congresses have tried to do which is figure out exactly what the hell USAID is doing with all this money. If any of those congressmen had half the concern for where that money was going before Elon musk entered the picture he probably wouldn’t be in the picture to begin with. Likewise, they claim that Elon can’t make changes but they’ve been blindly funding an organization that refuses to participate in any form of oversight or accountability for decades without any complaints or issues?
