I mostly agree but most of my friends are still alive so her friends must have been eating wrong and under stress. In fact most blacks our age are still alive but yes the stress is real. Though I must say I never felt a connection to Africa when I went to Kenya - but I loved the people but when I went to Barbados and have been many times I felt I am at home. And no the Queen doesn't own the land that your home is on! What she is talking about is if you own an apartment and it is leasehold - the leaseholder owns the land but you own the apartment like what I have. However, if you own a house you own both land and property outright.

Let's come together and do it inspite of the leaders. The revolution will start at grassroot level. We will build industries across Africa , buy and sell among ourselves within Africa. Take it from someone that grew up in Zim and SA, UK ain’t it….working on moving back to the motherland….Uk has made me value being African…my culture….people are depressed, living in debt, working for debt and hardly any social life…most of our neighbours are strangers…don’t get me wrong, for some people the UK life is everything when they compare it to their African lives…people are different…love this woman’s energy….that’s what Africa does to you…so spiritually uplifting

Most young people as young as 24 have 20k debt! So many young women, as young as 19 getting lips/ boobs/ ass done! So many young families do not know how to cook a nutritious meal! As an African living in the UK, I agree! This place is stress, stress and more stress! That’s why they have a pub on every street corner!

OMG, I left off for a while, and now, look at your home!! Beautiful. I remember asking you all years ago, how much land was it that you have? You all were saying, that we want to put a pool here and this there. It was just land at that time. So proud of you all. I did manage to make it to the Continent since then, Ghana, but want to visit Gambia soon. Congratulations. I now edit this conversation, 2 months later. I have purchased land in the Gambia. Will be bringing manufacturing to the country. Lord's will.

My message to the Africans in Diaspora is to connect with Africa and give their children a home in Africa. Just look at the house they built in Gambia, that is a dream to have in the US and Europe. Africa may not have all the things you find in the West, but the potential is there to build and develop. Let's be the pioneers to rebuild Africa. A big shout to Wade Maya and the Blaxit family.

Yeah for people have the capital acquired from the west. Totally different for the locals who never left. We can all take advantage of geo arbitrage who are earning western salaries.

she makes a good point about "would be living like this in england?". That parking space to let those cars be idle for hours alone is a small fortune there.

She wouldn't be living like she is *without* England though.
@usefulrandom18552 жыл бұрын
@@-j308 Exactly. £250 per month avergae salary in Gambia. Good look building that house with about £150,000 of cars on the drive. "Just put £2000 aside and build a house" fine for the "diaspora" for the locals not so much hey!
@-j3082 жыл бұрын
@@usefulrandom1855 Exactly that bro. She's not taking into account that she would never have made it where she is without a western salary. The average person in the UK brings home around £1200 a month after tax (min wage). If Gambia is £250, you wouldn't need to be in a very well paying job in England in order to have what they have. Especially if they were housed by the government ontop of that.

Granted! Again, her target audience isn’t the locals. The repatriation and relocation process she helps with is for those in western countries but are interested in exploring more.
